  1. Not one member of our esteemed Buffalo media was smart enough to follow up and ask Rex who he meant by "they" in the following interchange in the post game PC: My guess is that he was being both purposely vague and referring to the Pats/Belichick.
  2. This is so true. I hope this continues. It would be nice to be on a level playing field. Yes, he had a great time. I did as well for the short time I was there. I would like to go back next summer, catch a Red Sox game, see the sights, maybe go down to the Cape . . . . I like Boston and the surrounding area . . . and (shhhh) the people as well.
  3. . . . and we beat them with a late round second stringer (until not too long ago) and without our best player on offense and our best player on defense. The Pats missing Brady was huge, but given who was playing and not playing the game, the pieces on the chess board were relatively even. This time Rex and our coaching staff beat the chess master on the other side.
  4. He is. He also is a team leader and clearly loves playing in Buffalo. P.S. I remember how some of the keyboard jockeys on this board were pissing all over him not too long ago.
  5. He just started high school. We shall see . . . . We have friends who spent a month in July in an apartment overlooking Fenway. One of their sons had an internship at Harvard medical school. Their other son invited my son to go to a camp at MIT where they learned 3D imaging. It was a great experience for them. Not only being on a college campus, but being at MIT learning what they learned. I flew my son up to Boston and we met our friends at their apartment. We went up to the rooftop to look at Fenway. I noticed that there was a sign that advertised that Paul McCartney was playing at Fenway THAT night. I love the Beatles and have seen McCartney twice. My son was able to essentially experience the concert from the rooftop of the apartment. When I was there to drop my son off, we walked around Fenway. I was very impressed. My Dad also was a Red Sox fan (even though many of us from Buffalo are Yankee or Mets fans). He loved Ted Williams and respected that he served in the military in what presumably would have been among his most productive years. We also went to the Wahlburgers near Fenway. I have to say, they had really good food.
  6. It is a shame that we were not able to keep our stand out defensive back Mario Williams . . . .
  7. My 14 year old went to a camp at MIT back in July for a week. He went to a Thursday night Red Sox/Twins game. Full house. He is not much of a sports fan, but he thought that the atmosphere was fantastic and has become a bit of a Red Sox fan as a result.
  8. Sadly, I know about mediocre QB play. Brady is amazing. I also have tons of respect for Belichick. Sadly he was the DC for the Giants who beat us in Super Bowl 25 largely because of Belichick's defense. If only Jim Kelly realized that the smart move would have been to give the ball to Thurman much more than he did. Oh well. Even without TB, you guys will have a very good team as long as Belichick is he HC.
  9. You are a good dad. Well done. We know about tanking . . . for Eichel.
  10. I have relatives who are Jets fans. They all wish that the Jets still had Rex as their coach.
  11. As Rex said, Tom Brady may be the best QB to ever play the game. I do like the fact that our re-match is in Buffalo. I also like the fact that the Tom Brady gravy train is far closer to the end than the beginning.
  12. I agree. The line looked pretty good today and TT had a good pocket most of the day. Whaley got both Cordy and Richie re-signed. People forget just how important those signings were and are to this team.
  13. Rex's antics this week caused the Bills to lose today. Get rid of this loud mouth. I cannot stand this guy. All he wants to do is draw attention to himself. How dare Rex say that Bill Belichick and Tom Brady are the best of the best. Rex knows nothing about defense and does not put in the work. No wonder we lost today. Oh . . . never mind.
  14. Whaley should be commended for signing Z. Brown. Great pick up for the Bills.
  15. Defensive game plan: Make Jacoby be a QB.
  16. There is one person who does NOT know the answer to this question - John Clayton.
  17. Jacoby starting per Schefter. Adam Schefter ‏@AdamSchefter 16s16 seconds ago With Jacoby Brissett starting and Jimmy G inactive, Patriots backup QB expected to be WR Julian Edelman. http://es.pn/2cL7txb 20 retweets13 likes Reply Retweet 20 Like 13 More
  18. Someone will try to make that argument.
  19. Whaley needs to be fired for not giving Byrd all that money . . . oh wait . . . never mind.
  20. Good question. I could be wrong, but I seem to remember that it was not a Bills doctor. As an aside, it seems that there is still a bit of mystery about how he originally hurt his foot. There was no report of him injuring his foot etc. during the season, and the next thing we know, he comes back in the spring and we find out about this. I seem to recall that, initially, no one said when he hurt it. It was not until sometime later that some (Sammy) said that he originally hurt it during last season. It could very well be that he originally hurt his foot during last season. Nevertheless, I continue to wonder whether Sammy hurt his foot during the off season.
  21. The more I listen to John Clayton on Schopp and the Bulldog, the more I realize that WGR may as well save some money and have any guy from this board or any football related board that has no (or little) inside information call in instead of Clayton. It would be just as informative.
  22. Belichick never signs former Bills the week before playing the Bills . . . never mind.
