While I don't know if the Eagles FO wanted to lose for draft position, the NFL and Goodell ought to be looking at this today. It is a very BAD look to have a team blatantly and obviously throw a game on primetime television. It opens up a can of worms that delegitimizes the game. If this is allowed, then the NFL becomes nothing more than WWE. It throws into question the NFL's integrity and brings up the question of fixing games. It should be handled in every way like the 1919 Black Sox scandal. If this is not addressed this week, perhaps even by Congress, the NFL needs to be stripped of all anti-trust exemptions, tax benefits and public financing immediately. At the very least, Doug Pederson and any FO personnel who were party to this intentional effort to lose a game must be permanently banned from the game.

If Pederson has a job tomorrow, I’ll be shocked.

Maybe Jeffrey Lurie told Doug he was done after the game and he’s showing him the middle finger.

I figure Alex might choose to hang up his cleats. He made his miraculous comeback. Now he can go enjoy his life.

They can cancel any contact or padded workouts if they want. They need the classroom study and walkthroughs. There’s no wear and tear in that work. No need to keep them away from each other all spring and summer.

Indeed, it feels great! Good write-up as usual, Shaw. What I especially like is the comradery between these teammates. Sure the 90s was a really good run. But they weren't at all tight like this group is. In retrospect, it seems like the 90s team was about some all-time great individuals and a coach who could keep them in control. (sort of) This years team is different. Did you see the Allen/Diggs interview on Sportscenter? Allen says its all Diggs and Diggs says its all Allen. That's a refreshing take from two budding superstars, isn't it? There are no divas on this team! This team-first approach is what has McDermott has been preaching, and its working. I can definitely see great things on the horizon for this team that may even surpass our wildest dreams.
