In winter conditions, it sure as heck could be.

Yes, I’d be absolutely blown away if they lost twice and moderately surprised if they lost another game. This team does what they have to do to win. That is all they need.

Some of those Allen runs were clearly called or at least called as options. Look, the point is we we’re more balanced than some are crowing about. -

Against the Jets DL, and without your lead blocking FB, you won’t generate a consistent running game. Their D is really good. That said, our run to pass ratio was pretty balanced, though. 24 runs, 27 passes. -

I agree with your assessment of Dorsey. That said, he’s a first-year coordinator. He deserves some slack for growing pains. We are lucky that we are winning while he learns on the job. I suspect he will improve slightly as the season wraps up. -

It’s always, “if we play like that next week…” Yet, we keep winning. Ugh. -
Additionally, this shows that Baker plays very well in an unscripted, fly by the seat of your pants offense. His dismal failure has resulted from trying to conform and play in within the confines of a formal offense. He just doesn't do that well. Kinda like JP Losman-ish. Now the real test will be to see if McVay can build an offense where the QB is basically unscripted. Just running around and making plays, like he did last night. Josh as an example, does both well. Baker seems to be the guy who can only do the off-schedule stuff. Good luck to him. He was fun to watch last night.

You have to remember that dirty play where somebody hoisted his leg up causing the hamstring tear. He was not the same after that injury. Plus, I think you have to consider Elbert Dubenion in the best of all-time conversation. Different time, different game, but nonetheless, he was dominant against some really good secondaries. Lance Alworth was better, but not by much. -
Are you "Smilin' Ted?"

Oh boy... I can't wait for mock drafts. We need much more talent because we are soooo very weak and buried in the standings. Houston could use your help.

Wait a minute. Let’s see if we can get the incomparable Moss back! -
Maybe resting the ankle for the stretch run also went into this decision.

You have to admit that Gabe has been generally ineffective playing for contested catches. Additionally, he does have a few outright drops. You are right in that last night a few of his targets were off the mark. But again, he missed a few contested catches. My real issue with him this year is that he does not seem to be making as many adjustments on Josh’s extended plays, particularly over the middle. That said, his adjustment in the end zone on that TD was vintage Gabe. -

I’m genuinely impressed with how well he does on NFL games. I just expected “another college guy” trying to make the jump. Sure, it took him a few games but he’s done it. It’s really likely that his fast transition is due in great part to Al’s tutoring. Al might be slow on the draw anymore, but he was a great one in his prime. The two of them seem to get along and that relationship is helping Herbstreit become legitimate in the NFL. -

The backup LTs were bad but you’re really stretching it to call out the entire line. -
How has the AFC East suddenly become the best division in football?

How could this be? I read here that we all suck... except Tua. 🤪
