Oh I def agree. The staff is hoping Levi can make a jump but if he can't , Gaines is a great security blanket and doesn't have a long term future for sure. I just like the signing because we need some depth. Also agree we will see a few rookie DBs . I could see them drafting 2 . Picking up a couple UDFA rookies as well.

White , Gaines , Levi , Taron are all under 30.

I love this signing . He did great in 17 , terrific fit for the scheme and an upgrade over KJ , for this scheme. More importantly he adds legit competition with Norman,Levi I think if Taron is healthy , he's a lock for the slot. He's a BEAST. But this is also competition for him too. Roster keeps getting deeper and deeper. Love it!

We had the LUXURY to make this trade because of the great drafting and FA moves by Beane. Because of the talent and depth already on the roster, I LOVE the move. Timing is everything and we needed a legit # 1 and got him for pick 22 , the other picks would have struggled to make the roster anyway!

Turnover Tre SS - Derwin James / *Jonathan Abrams , but he has limited footage .looked like Sean Taylor though FS- Harrison Smith I didn't want to go Poyer or Hyde just to have some fun and Tre in the slot because he can play anywhere

Idk . I think they roll with Motor, Yeldon, Rookie , Wade,Taiwan , Dimarco and UDFA rookie in TC.. Two UDFA rookies started in the SB. Motor was a 3rd rounder that was productive from day 1 . Can get great value on RB in the draft. I don't see a need to pay Hyde or Miller if they draft a RB early on

Good take. I look at it like Butler slight upgrade over Phillips Jefferson slight upgrade over Shaq. Adds great versatility . Played DE alot in Sea. And Addison is the best out of them all . Overall a pretty good upgrade

Looks like they feel Singletary can be the bell cow. We still have Yeldon, who's great depth, can do alot worse. I'd Draft a RB that would be a great complement to Singletary

Ya and teams can't run their own medical on him. Which is a huge issue for most teams. I'm on board with Gordon . Look at the 2 SB teams. Both didn't really have a bell cow. Really just rode with the hot hand. I'd love Gordon and Singletary

They have cap issues now. We all saw it coming. They went all in on the SB , but did it the wrong way, even though they were 1 win away. They didn't build their team to sustain success like Buf has

Steve Wyche called this the most understated addition in FA. We got the better player and are paying him the same as Shaq got. I understand the age but Panther fans also saying he has actually gained a step ,and we have an out after year 1. Also Panther fans loved him. Seems like we plucked Panthers and Seahawks most consistent DL , according to the fans. Big time upgrades over Shaq/Phillips. Beane is a helluva GM

Ummmm. You do realize he averaged just over 5 TARGETS a game last year right?!? Previous year had about 8 targets a game. 2200 yards 15 TD If he gets 10 a game , watch out!!!
