To me that is all irrelevant. I understand what you're trying to say , I just don't see the relevance. It's not a common thing because seeing greatness in 3 years is not a common thing. But it happens and I think should happen so we sign him with a lower total cap. Tre passes the eye test , with flying colors. Achieved 1st team ALL PRO , since day 1 it wasn't hard to see this kid is special and elite at his position. Fans LOVE him , judging by the Bills promotion of him , they love him , teammates love him, is a great locker room guy and has tremendous work ethic. We're not letting this guy touch the market, might as well save a little coin and sign him now rather than later.

What are ppls thoughts on AJ Bouye? Lot of National and local Jags Media expect him to be cut to save money. 28 years old. 6'0 190. I always thought of him as a borderline elite CB.

Sign me up. I think Henry was the best offensive skill player in the game last year. What he did @Bal and NE was ridiculous , it's just so hard to predict how good these RB will be on a year to year basis. Look at Gurley/Zeke . Really makes me appreciate a guy like Shady , who performed at a consistently high level for almost a decade. Probably cause he rarely took the big shots. I love Motor though and surprised by his receiving skills. But bottom line , we have to improve the run game and be able to be more consistent. Ppl fail to mention how inconsistent it was when talking about Allen. I do too but my only concern then is Motor in goal line situations.

Ravens cutting Tony Jefferson after three seasons
JerseyBills replied to HOUSE's topic in The Stadium Wall Archives
Plus playing time. He'll be looking for top 10 S money and no chance Bills mess up Hyde/Poyer tandem and I personally love Neal in the Big Nickel role..Good player tho , def a McD guy. Will be a loss to that secondary , especially leadership. -
I totally agree. Just figured he's only going into year 3 and was an UDFA rookie , so ppl would cut him some slack. Definitely add competition, best man wins I mean, I'd actually like to add the best CB available and build on a strength. AJ Bouye if released is interesting.

Greg Olsen visiting Bills, Redskins, Seahawks
JerseyBills replied to FluffHead's topic in The Stadium Wall Archives
Exactly. Thought this the whole time. They actually have a good roster , minus QB imo. -
I'm surprised ppl aren't higher on Levi. He was apart of a top 5 pass D in back to back seasons , with Tre on the other side . I still love his upside. I hope they grab a CB like KJ or give him an offer. Unless an elite or clear upgrade is available. I'm almost more concerned with the slot , I love Taron but his physical play , which I love , has made him injury prone

Tyrod Taylor Could Be Chargers New Starting QB
JerseyBills replied to ChevyVanMiller's topic in The Stadium Wall Archives
I thought he was just slow processing everything. Tentative Taylor was his nickname on the old BBMB and was spot on. I agree though, not a dumb guy by any means , the game just never slowed down enough for him. I'd be interested in seeing him used way more like Lamar. Even tho Taylor had Roman , he wasn't using Taylors feet as a weapon -
The Best Bills offensive Plays of 2019
JerseyBills replied to YoloinOhio's topic in The Stadium Wall Archives
Very few run plays. Ppl don't talk about that when dissing Allen for some reason. We need , a TD maker , like Beane said , at RB more than anything. Allen would be on another level with a legit run game -
PFF is trying to analyze a game they know nothing about. Not a knock to any guys that never played but love the game. I only played til senior in high school. The value of players is determined by so much more than the raw numbers. It's just like the Tre White or any Bill not being in the top 101 players. Tre would be a top 3 CB pick for me if I'm a GM. I bet at least 30 Gms agree Him and Allen are dogs , they listen to their eternal voices , they lead by example and the list goes on. I could give two Fs what his player grade is from a system that is flawed beyond belief , don't take situational football into account and they're just a mess.. All I care about - Do I think Josh Allen can bring a Lombardi to Buffalo and my gut always says Yes. The rest is irrelevant

Greg Olsen visiting Bills, Redskins, Seahawks
JerseyBills replied to FluffHead's topic in The Stadium Wall Archives
It really looks like he's just taking his eye off the ball , a coachable issue imo. But overall I think Knox was a steal. I like that Jeremy Sharpey comparison when he ran over the Bengals. He does remind me of Shockey a bit -

Exactly , he'll drop the easy ones , I think it was a rookie issue more than anything. I think we got our long term RB/TE in round 3. Knox will be fine. A matchup nightmare. That first throw in Giants gm was beautiful -

Isn't Cobb a slot guy? I know he was supposed to be Beasley replacement. -
XFL Opening Weekend, Matchups and where to watch.
JerseyBills replied to MAJBobby's topic in The Stadium Wall Archives
lol. I was on cloud 9 by this time.. I hope I can get season Tix at a spot like this for the NFL. Life is short, I love the game , why not.. ??♂️ -
I'd take a re committed and focused Brown. 2 reasons - 1. We'd have the luxury of cutting him if he gets off track . 2. Him and John Brown could legit be the best WR combo in the AFC. With Cole underneath? Wow. I'm sure Josh Allen wouldn't mind... He was the best WR of the decade. This guy has had issues , potential cancer in the locker room but we have enough of our core where any nonsense will not be tolerated. He'd have a long way to go , but hopefully he realizes his God given ability is going to be gone in a couple years and something clicks upstairs ??♂️

Met Shane McMahon. Good people!! Honestly had a blast at the NY Guardians gm at MetLife. Buddy won 4 Tix on field . Very cool seeing the game from that view. I can't upload any pictures!! Says they're too big. -
PFF 2017 Draft Redo . 2 Bills picked in top 20.

I agree. I'd take White over Adams without hesitation. -

JerseyBills replied to JerseyBills's topic in The Stadium Wall Archives
Actually they have us staying at 10 and grabbing Garret. I'm sure the helmet incident is a huge reason. He's the 3rd defender taken behind Adams and TJ Watt , I think all 3 are All pros at their positions. Watt was also a DPOY candidate. So highly debatable. Bottom line , just shows how great our drafting has been. Incredible value since McDermott came along. -
8. CAROLINA PANTHERS: CB TRE’DAVIOUS WHITE Previous Pick: RB Christian McCaffrey Passing on McCaffrey might rub some fans in Charlotte the wrong way, but if given the choice, the Panthers should be taking a shutdown cornerback like White over McCaffrey 10 times out of 10. Since entering the league, White has allowed a passer rating of 59.8, over five points lower than any other cornerback with 150 or more targets over that span. In 2019, he didn’t allow a single touchdown pass into his coverage on 568 coverage snaps. Shutting down opposing wide receivers like that is simply more valuable than what McCaffrey is able to do as a ball carrier and as a receiver out of the backfield. Not to mention, it’s something that the Panthers could sorely use right now. 20. DENVER BRONCOS: T DION DAWKINS Previous Pick: T Garett Bolles The battle for the second-best tackle in the class is pretty close between Dawkins, Taylor Moton and Garett Bolles, but the Broncos opt for Dawkins in the redraft. He has been as reliable as they come in pass protection, recording pass-blocking grades above 75.0 each season of his career to this point. If he’s able to get his run-blocking consistently up to the level that we saw in his rookie season when he picked up a run-blocking grade of 78.7, Dawkins could begin to push towards that next tier of tackles around the league. https://www.pff.com/news/nfl-redrafting-the-first-round-of-the-2017-nfl-draft

After that 5 yard run I was shocked they passed , giving the time and the fact that it looked like SFs OL was just too much for a weak KC run D. You could see the RB disgust , they were upset. The run game got them this far and they abandon it in the most important series of their lives. ? Then at least you could say they lost doing what they do best. Their identity on O is the run game , it boggled mind they abandoned it , they're built to run the ball when the D knows its coming. Moment got too big for Shanahan imo. I also had SF Money Line so I was pissed!

I don't think that's fair. I'm a die hard Bills fan. I'm very optimistic. I love McBeane, the culture and the future is just beautifully bright but I 100% agree with the OP. I literally had the same thoughts , this is a huge flaw that needs to be addressed . I blame Dabol first and then McD because McD is allowing him to have complete freedom . The team that won the SB was aggressive and played the same way whether down 10 or up 10. I've seen way to many times this offense totally change their play calling with a lead and being content with letting the Defense win the game. We just have to grow and evolve in that department and I'm confident they will address it but I absolutely thought of the Bills in the way the 49ers imploded and imo , played scared .
