  1. On behalf of my Stiller fan Mother, brother, and wife, I must wholeheartedly disagree w/ your broad generalization.
  2. I thought they already had a complementary pass rusher in Mario Williams. No wonder they call it Yahoo, huh?
  3. I'm going and if anyone else is interested in going, I have an extra ticket.
  4. Where to begin? Let's see: Injuries are a part of the game, and good teams can win despite adversity. The Bills are a work in progress, but aren't all the way there yet. The 4-0 start blinded many to that fact. Schobel is not dominating the line of scrimmage this season when healthy. Now, before people get all bent out of shape, I'm not saying he sucks. Far from it. What I am saying is that he certainly has not been performing like a high priced DE should to date. Stroud may be banged up, but he's played a lot tougher @ the point of attack in his career even while banged up. Get off those blocks, big man! You've shown that you can do it (w/out Stroud's presence, you'd see last year's defense for the most part), so make it so. Ellison has been a big disappointment since his rookie season (when he was probably the most consistent LB on the roster, surprisingly). It's been downhill ever since. Ko? He's okay, but nothing special just yet. Maybe he's on the way and maybe he's just what he's shown so far: an okay safety. Time will tell, and I'm rooting for the former. It's all JP's fault, Part XXXVIIII... This line has shown that their ability to pass block is greater than their run blocking ability. How Marshawn was among the top AFC backs is a mystery, as I usually see a few D linemen hanging off of him after he takes the handoff. As I said earlier, I would LOVE to see him get to the 2nd level w/out being beat up. I'll bet we'd see a true beast then. The Bills are so good that they'll nudge past the .500 mark? Actually, I get that, and you may not be that far off from what happens. The schedule toughens up quite a bit from the start of the year, so they will get to show us all what they are truly made of and whether or not this is the year we see the Bills in the postseason.
  5. J.T. O'Sullivan???
  6. Anyone can see that's what he meant by the douchebag comment.
  7. Foot speed. In a phone booth, to use an overused cliche, Bannan can do an okay job. Ngata has shown that he has quick feet and can make lateral adjustments far better than Bannan. In that sense, he's a lot like Trevor Pryce, so he's more of a hybrid DE/DT. Bannan has really impressed their coaches also, which is why they feel they haven't missed much w/ the loss of Kelly Gregg, who is one of the most underrated D linemen in the entire league in my opinion. I don't see how Ryan and his staff can be so high on Bannan. He sucks. He can't cut it. I know I read something to that effect here somewhere back in the day.
  8. His teams remind me of the Ravens and the Bengals. Friedgen is the offensive guru, yet the Terps steadily supply the NFL w/ quality defensive players (Madieu Williams, Shawne Merriman, E.J. Henderson) way more than offensive players.
  9. Ah, the old apples and oranges ratio. So and so beat so and so by such and such, while so and so didn't beat so and so by such and such, which means so and so will beat so and so by such and such. If only college football truly worked this way.
  10. Every bit as much as you do in Google.
  11. I like Tim and Pat's show more than any other on the network, but I don't subscribe wholehearedly to everything they say. They can be on point many times, but can also show favoritism as well (they love all things USC).
  12. Someone has Brown's blog bookmarked?
  13. It still is RICH to some.
  14. And, to think, Ngata got off to such a strong start despite playing w/ a bunch of mediocre pros like Ed Reed, Ray Lewis, Bart Scott, Trevor Pryce, Kelly Gregg, and Terrell Suggs playing alongside him. Just think of how well he'd be playing lined up next to studs like Larry Tripplett, Kyle Williams, Keith Ellison, John DiGiorgio, and Ko Simpson. Wow.
  15. Wouldn't this prediction equate to a 7-4 finish, giving the Bills an 11-5 record?
  16. Spartacus, that's one of the main reasons so many people who were active back when I first registered no longer post here. Some lurk (like you), and others just don't waste their time.
  17. Shows how little I really do know: Brown is starting now @ center for the Ravens.
  18. I was pretty high on Brown that year as a prospect @ center, but he's been moved to guard and has become a very good one for the Ravens.
  19. Habby pirthday.
  20. Easy. Let's keep things in perspective here. Reggie Bush ain't that good.
  21. He does pose a lot of different problems for a defense and for special teams, but... Bottom line, as long as the Saints realize that what they have in Bush is a terrific flanker, then they should be okay w/ him. He's not an every down RB that can beat you by running the ball 25 times a game, but w/ his versatility, he can cause the kind of mismatches that make defending 'Nawlins a tough task. All of that is dependent on the Saints having someone in there, though, that can carry the ball a good amount of times like Deuce. To put it short, he is to 'Nawlins what Raghib Ismail was to "that school" back in the day.
  22. Yeah, but I even got those fun three hours the weekend before last. All things considered, I made the right trip this year.
  23. Warner had the kind of performance he did 'cause he had all day to throw the ball. Our pass rush was nonexistent, and against a guy like Warner, that's an accident waiting to happen. As long as he has all day to pick a defense apart, which he did yesterday, he can shred any defense. He didn't get his 2 league MVPs and a Super Bowl ring out of a box of Cracker Jacks.
