  1. I can feel the love here.
  2. A grad ol' gal is she, eh?
  3. Do I have to? Is he any different than any player on a team that is starved for a measure of success? Of course people put ridiculously (and, perhaps, unattainable) high standards on this team and its' players. I'm not saying it's right, just saying that it's bound to happen.
  4. I gotta get that pesky little scratch fixed on my Bill from NYC vinyl. It keeps going back to "JP", "defensive backs", and "Jason Peters" over and over and over and over and over and over and over......
  5. Maybe you should hang 'round here a bit more, Melissa. When we do hear from you, it's not always so cheery. Maybe a tailgate visit will help? I know what you're going through. Hang in there. It'll be alright. Rest in peace.
  6. T minus 4 days and counting!!!!
  7. I'm bringing lots of good beer, I mean, cheer.
  8. My guess is it was more 'bout cleaning house than it was a reflection on Gill's abilities (Gill was one of the top recruiters in college football when he was coaching for the Huskers).
  9. No. You'll just have to wear your special championship belt yet again.
  10. Nope, it is.......... T minus 5 days and counting!!!!
  11. Monday
  12. Like this: T minus 6 days and counting!!!!
  13. Give her a happy birthday wish from us, and maybe next time, she can make the road trip w/ you.
  14. T minus 7 days and counting!!!! Just one more week!!!!
  15. How credible.
  16. So........you're saying that he did a very good job of building up their defense, but had problems doing the same w/ the offense? Shocking. Buddy wasn't a horrible coach in Philly, but he owed a LOT of that to guys like Seth Joyner, Eric Allen, and the late trio of Jerome Brown, Andre "Dirty" Waters, and Reggie White. Randall Cunningham was good for them, and a guy who I feel is often disrespected by the media and the fans (didn't he get named the sportswriters' MVP 3 times in his career?), but the Iggles would be just good enough not to be a bad team. Better than his stint in Arizona, but being that you're in Philly, how many of the locals take stock in moral victories there?
  17. Where does this Roethlebirger guy play?
  18. My guess is it's less him being beloved and more along the lines of people being unbiased 'bout the guy. Yeah, he wasn't all that as the Bills' coach, but it's quite a leap from being a bad head coach to being worthless @ any coaching job. He appears to be another career coordinator, along the lines of Buddy Ryan and Marvin Lewis; great coordinators, not so great head coaches.
  19. You never know.
  20. Evening it is. Righ now, I have it tentively scheduled for Tuesday, September 2nd @ 7:00pm EST. If there's problems w/ the date/time, drop me a line over @ our league forum.
  21. Nice to see the output by UB. I had UTEP to win their division in CUSA, beating out Tulsa and SMU. This was a great start for the Bulls and I look forward to seeing them in action on the 13th vs Temple.
