  1. Way back when. They went to a place where you'd expect wheels to end up: Indianapolis.
  2. There may not be a bunch of team that want to trade up to the Bills' pick though, unless the pick is high enough that Bush is still on the board.
  3. Was I the only person who found it a bit weird that the Bills were sitting on 3 timeouts and chose not to use any of them? If they were just going to let the clock run, why were the starters (offensive and defensive) still on the field? Why not put in the reserves to give them a little PT if you're conceding the game?
  4. I am rapidly losing faith in any of the coaches on this staff.
  5. I'm not going to the game. Nick in England has my tickets this week. I will be there for next Saturday's game though.
  6. Psycho Ward 86 and I were watching a show on the Pittsburgh Fox sports channel, and someone asked a question that I just had to share w/ you all. A guy named 'Ivan' (from Miami; how ironic) called in regards to the Steelers. He asked the host if he thought that the Steelers' drafts in the past few years have been worse due to the loss of Donahoe (actually, he said Donahue). I almost had a heart attack on hearing that question! The show host just asked the guy how many playoff appearances the Bills have had since Donahoe was hired. How many was that again?
  7. Was it?
  8. Not bad, but I'd keep Wire. Throw in Losman, McGahee, Evans, Spikes, Clements (after we re-sign him), and our first round pick, and that's a great deal.
  9. Man, we let a winning QB go, didn't we? Like they say, "all he does is win". And this team sure needs a winner right now. Can someone post Flutie's playoff stats and the Bills' win-loss record for the postseason w/ Flutie @ the helm?
  10. Who's Eric Moulds?
  11. Moulds sucks, just like that bum Jim Kelly. And it's all Donahoe's fault.
  12. If Parrish is hurt, do we draft a smurf to replace him?
  13. Before or after the game?
  14. He could read the Bills' stats for the year. Clive Barker or Stephen King would be hard pressed to match it.
  15. Just as long as he doesn't bring that big bully Brad Riter w/ him.
  16. Hahaha!!!
  17. A change in ownership/management philosophy. I want this team to be as concerned about correcting the problems on the field (such as the OL, pass rush, and now the run defense) as they are about selling the luxury boxes and season tickets. That philosophy doesn't necessarily mean I want a change in ownership or management (personnel). I just want these guys to take care of the problems on the field, and to do so in a very proactive manner. No more bargain basement finds, please, and no more late round gems, as our scouting department has seemingly missed the mark lately more than they've been on target. Now, either way, I'll still be supporting the Bills, as I'd like to belive I'm a good fan even to a fault @ times. I'll still renew my season tickets (unless there's a good reason I cannot attend games next year......a REAL good reason!!) and cheer the Bills on. I just really want to see a situation where the team knows what the problem is and aggressively attempts to correct it. I must admit, I'm not very optimistic that this will happen. Today's "press conference" is another example of the Bills thumbing their nose @ the very people who pay good money to support them. The whole clandestine, "it's none of your business" approach is a bit over the top. They don't have to put remote cameras in the board room, but it would be nice to just give people a general idea of what's going on instead of proceeding as if it were a matter of national security. I don't need the specifics; I just want to know things are under control. Right now, I don't get the sense that they are.
  18. I only wish that the Bills cared as much about developing a quality team that can contend for a championship as much as they cared about "putting fannies in the seats". "If you build it, they will come..."
  19. Gease, yoar sew pickie.
  20. Ah, you were there, huh? So was I. That was one of 4 games I attended that year: the only win I got to see that year was the win over Green Bay, where Andre Reed wore out Terrell Buckley. I was treated to losses to the Pats, Colts, and the Vikings, a game made worse by the fact that I attended that game w/ a van load of Vikings fans from work!
  21. Or the Bills fans from the '94 season, after the Pats came to town and beat us. "Walt Must Go!"
  22. If you're saying that people shouldn't make snap judgments about an entire group and should refrain from broad generalizations, then I agree.
  23. 1-2-3-4 Bitching on the Wall? NO MORE!!!!!
  24. It's nothing that hasn't happened numerous times before and it more than likely will continue to happen.
