Ahhhh, they both sucked. Everyone sucks. Fire the announcers! Bring in the backups.

Hopefully, our pick will be high enough to get a stud pass rusher like Mario Williams. If we could land him in round one, a run stuffing DT like Gabe Watson in round 2, and maybe even a LT prospect (I'd say Jonathan Scott, but I doubt he falls far enough) w/ our earliest 3rd round pick, I'd be quite happy.

Hahaha!!! Okay okay, so I know not to chase 2.5 pitchers of beer (Mmmm.........beeeeeeeeeer!!!) w/ shots of ta kill ya!

Hey, I still owe you for Duff's. I haven't forgotten.

If Boss Bailey was healthier, I think he'd make a great NFL linebacker. He just gets banged up a lot. Maybe he needs better conditioning, which is hard for me to believe, because he's always been such an excellent athlete.

Read your PMs.

Paul Maguire, is that you?

Who's Champ Bailey?

Just insert the following into any postgame press conference: "We need to make plays where we execute better and do more of the little things so that we can live to fight another day, because, after all, on any given Sunday anything can happen and there's always next season."

Good point. Let's see...... talent level in Miami vs talent level in Chicago Hmmm......

Yeah. If only we @ TBD were in charge of contract negotiations, huh? We wouldn't have made the environment such that Moulds wouldn't want to come back, and we would've been able to re-sign him @ a price that wouldn't keep us from making other offseason free agent acquisitions or re-signing other key free agents. We're oh so rational here.

Another Good Trip/Bad Game For Me...
R. Rich replied to R. Rich's topic in The Stadium Wall Archives
Yeah. Thank goodness for family. I got to see my goddaughter; she's 9 months old now and already standing up! You go, girl. Also, those of you who are in the Erie area or travel there: if you get a chance to go to the Sunday brunch @ the Pufferbelly, take it. Outstanding! -
Another Good Trip/Bad Game For Me...

No. I drove straight from Baltimore to Erie, thinking how "the big storm" was going to keep people from attending Tahou's on Friday. -
I guess it could be worse though. That was the first home loss I saw this year (Texans, Chiefs), but the 2nd loss in the 4 Bills games I've been to this year (Saints game). Sorry I missed the gang in Lot 1, but I did try to catch up w/ you all after the game, but nobody was there. I may have gotten there too early. Oh well, as I've grown accustomed to saying in regards to the Bills, there's always next year. [EDIT: Oh yeah, it was nice to meet SACKMARINO there. He had the best 'costume' I saw that night. I have a picture, and I'll post it some time tonight after I put my photos from the trip up on Webshots.] Observations: 1. Clements and his agent had better get used to seeing a lot of stacks of videotapes on the desks of the team execs they shop him around to this offseason. San Diego, Miami, and now Denver. If they can have another stellar performance, maybe the execs can go to the 4 way video screen and have them playing simultaneously during the meeting. Then, they can ask, "...exactly how much were you looking to be paid again?" 2. I could find not one single good thing to say about the play of the OL. I'll have to go over the tivo I have of the game, but going by what I saw @ the game, they were in rare form. Considering how badly they've played this year, that ain't good. 3. How hurt was Losman? Really. 4. Our pass rush, especially on third downs/goal line situations, is embarASSing. I'm starting to like the idea of drafting Mario Williams or Mathias Kiwanuka more and more. This is ridiculous. 5. The run defense started out okay, but got worn down by their own inefficient pass rush (which led to some big pass gains later on) and an offense that was hideous. It reminded me of the Saints game, where eventually, you knew Deuce was going to gouge the team for big yards due to the DL being worn down. I'm sure I'll think of some more after reviewing the tivo.

Agreed, Mark. I saw King Kong last night, and I thought it was incredible. For as much hype and as many glowing reviews as it received, I was wary of it not living up to the hype. It's even better than what I expected. I like how you mentioned Watts and how she had to "act" in those scenes w/ Kong. It's pretty amazing how she could pull that off, especially considering that she not only did it w/out words, but did it w/out a co-star in essence, as Kong was all CGI, and a very well done CGI @ that. Jackson's company can more than hold their own against ILM. Those who saw the LOTR movies and remember how awesome the Gollum character is know what I mean. For those who are worried about the 3 hour length, I suggest you go see one of the 90 minute car chases, karate fights in slow motion, or idiotic comedies where everyone goes around calling each other "duuuuuude" all day that Hollywood offers up on the daily. Those are probably more your speed. Don't forget your Hot Pockets.

With the #4 pick in the 2006 draft
R. Rich replied to NavyBillsFan's topic in The Stadium Wall Archives
Agreed. Many people thought New Orleans got a steal when they drafted McPherson. They should take the time to see if he's a legitimate prospect to lead them or not. If he could pan out for them, then they could go after A.J. Hawk to strengthen their defense, which is pathetic @ the LB position. -

R. Rich replied to NavyBillsFan's topic in The Stadium Wall Archives
Like a lot of their fans, I'd love to see them give McPherson a shot, just so that they know what they have in him. He may surprise them. He was pretty highly thought of around draft time back in April. -

Depending on what happens w/ the Saints, a lot could change in the early part in the draft. If the current regime is around, they may go after Hawk, a player they really like. They may also look for Young or Leinart, depending on what draft position they have. -
Three HC Candidates to Consider

Just as long as we don't get a female kicker, we're in good shape. -
Three HC Candidates to Consider

I think he'll be a good one. I've heard nothing but praises about Rivera as a coach. He may need more experience, but I think he'll be a good one. As for Ferentz, in a GM sim league I'm in, he's the head coach of my team (of course, we did finish w/ a 3-15 record......ugh!). -
Same thing as last year.

What about Ron Rivera, the DC of the Chicago Bears? I don't feel like fishing through the vast wasteland of coaching prospect posts, but has anyone mentioned him? -

I didn't know the announcement had been made yet. I heard Hawkins was negotiating a contract, but you never know w/ coaches (George O' Leary, anyone?). -
Actually, the cover 2 was used by the late Bud Carson when he coached the Steelers defense in the 1970s.
