  1. I hope Hali kicks butt in the pros, because he's a great young player w/ a fantastic attitude who works extremely hard. Other than Tamba, there's no other first round caliber DL from Penn State.
  2. Do what I do on those kind of days. Drink.
  3. Add in a chorus of "we need to upgrade the offensive lines" Eric, and you can join our flock. Never mind. You're in.
  4. Yeah! I mean, after all, he's been there a whole year and has gotten rid of 28 players from last season and had a fairly decent draft. That's more than enough time to fully ASSess him as a general manager.
  5. Our first round picks: NOOOOOO!!!!!!!!!!!!! Well, the Tye Hill pick isn't bad @ all, but please, for the love of God, do not draft Wroten or any other "rush tackles". We have plenty of those, and none of them can stop the run. We need big guys who can stuff the run. I'm still holding out hope that we find a way to get a stud OT or a pass rusher (PLEASE!!!!!) w/ our first round pick, so I say draft a big run stuffing tackle (Gabe Watson?) later as depth and sign a free agent to start. Also..... 1. LenDale White is declaring? 2. The Pack choose Kiwi over Super Mario? 3. The Titans will be hard pressed to both re-sign Vanden Bosch (contract is up, and he's having a great year) and pay big bonus $$ to Williams. 4. LOVE the Jimmy Williams pick for St Louis....and so would they. 5. Millen (if he survives to remain the head guy in Detroit) would be drawn and quartered if the Lions neglect the defense w/ their pick and overpay for a QB they could trade down and land later, if they wanted him.
  6. No need. He just wants a cookie.
  7. How sad. This is fun speculation and all, but it probably doesn't matter, because I just can't see the Bills being fortunate enough to land Savage as GM.
  8. All sarcasm aside (I decided to try some...just this once), if there is any possibility for the Bills to land either Ferguson or DE Mario Williams in a trade up scenario, I hope they go for it. Other than those two, I wouldn't try to trade up to get anyone. Ferguson looks to be a standout LT prospect, one who should become a Pro Bowl fixture. He's not a massive guy like Jonathan Ogden or Orlando Pace, but reminds me of a cross between Walter Jones and Levi Jones. Not bad company to be placed in: the best LT in the game today (Walter) and probably the 3rd or 4th best LT in the game today (Levi).
  9. Like a lot!
  10. He could play WR for us, if he weren't so tall.
  11. Uh huh. From what I've heard about this, it appears he has a problem w/ Lerner or vice versa. His relationship w/ Crennel is very good, so this makes no sense. Savage is an excellent evaluator of talent, so if the Browns are stupid enough to fire him, I sure hope the Bills make him some kind of offer to come here!
  12. Crowell's nothing more than a backup. That's it. He's too small to be a good strongside LB. He sucks.
  13. He's too young. He only had one good season, and he had some pretty bad games this year, too (remember how he stunk up the joint in the first game against the Steelers?). He sucks.
  14. Nah. He's too small. He isn't going to be able to finesse those big guys in the NFL. He sucks.
  15. No he didn't. Go w/ the flow, man. He sucks. He's slow. He doesn't disrupt the offensive backfield.
  16. BEST CASE!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
  17. Who is that???
  18. Hey, I's just tryn ta git mah pointe ackrost. I ain't steupid.
  19. Damn! Forgot that; sorry, bud.
  20. Ah, two new converts to the church. Welcome. Pastor Bill from NYC, Deacon John from Hemet, and Reverand R. Rich are pleased to have you aboard. Our flock is growing...
  21. Who's Jay?
  22. I have tape on him from their loss to SC, and I saw him disrupt plays from the backfield on well more than one occasion in that game. I'm not sure which games you're referring to, but in what was the biggest game on their schedule, he came to play and was a handful for the vaunted SC offensive line.
  23. BEST CASE: We come out of the first round w/ one of the following: Mario Williams D'Brickashaw Ferguson Mathias Kiwanuka Haloti Ngata WORST CASE: TD drafts another smurf WR, injured RB, or underachiever in the first round.
  24. Keeping him as the LOLB in a 3-4, a position in which he performed quite well in Houston, wouldn't give me the hives. Of course, then you'd not only have to find a quality NT (it's not on this roster), but you'd have to have guys who can man the DE spots also. Schobel is not cut out to be a 3-4 end. The only one I think could pull it off would be Denney, but he'd have to play the left side. For these reasons, I just don't see us switching to a 3-4, though I'd love to see it again.
