  1. What, in particular, did you see in his play that you concluded he won't be a very good NFL player? I tivo'd the game last night, but I was out all evening, so I haven't watched it.
  2. Very good observation, bluv. I just can't see Schobel being as effective as a 3-4 end, and I don't believe the Bills would do such a move unless they planned to move Schobel to LB, which would be a big mistake.
  3. ...who is a FORMER Tennessee Titan.
  4. It would appear that someone had an early start.
  5. Get your tickets while you can, before they relocate to Anaheim, Oakland, or some other sandbox for the kiddies to play w/.
  6. That puts him on par w/ the rest of our M*A*S*H* unit, I mean, TE unit.
  7. It's showing @ my place. Let me know if you want to see it.
  8. Who's Lamar Parrish?
  9. I don't mind Kelsay as depth or as an additional rusher, but he's not a solid every down DE. We need to bring in a big time pass rusher so that we can put better pressure on offenses. I get tired of seeing us flounder around on 3rd downs due to an ineffective pass rush.
  10. I think Winston has done a great job of coming back from the injury, Peter. He looked pretty good in the games I saw him in, especially the beating they gave to Va Tech.
  11. That's good work, but let's not forget the pass rush. Schobel is okay, but the fact that we cannot consistently get pressure on the QB w/out blitzing is very disturbing. We need a stud pass rusher, and if one is available w/ our first round pick, I sure hope that's who we draft. Of course, if both Mario Williams and Mathias Kiwanuka are gone, I hope we look elsewhere.
  12. I keep that phrase in my wallet. That way, I can have it ready @ all times. It hasn't failed me in many years (@ least 5 years, I'd say).
  13. There's always next year...
  14. Now that's the sane, rational kind of posting that I expect around here. 'Bout time!
  15. Yeah, you'd have to really be a mean fellow to survive that.
  16. Since you asked.... 1. Seymour's former college teammate, Marcus Stroud. 2. Bryant Young, who played for "that school" and is still kicking butt for the Niners even after 2 broken legs. 3. Tommie Harris; while he's not "lighting up the league", he has stabilized Chicago's line back to the point where Urlacher can be a playmaker again. 4. Kevin Williams: came into the league and quickly became one of the top DTs in the league. 5. Shaun Rogers, arguably the top DT in the game along w/ Stroud, K. Williams and Seymour. That's all I can immediately think of.
  17. I could see it, I guess. Tackles do usually get overvalued (see Alex Barron) and, @ times, get taken higher than they probably should.
  18. TMEP Scratch that. F TMEP!
  19. He is. Why are you people all hung up on the offensive and defensive lines? They're fine; no big deal.
  20. To Buffalo (hoping against hope!!!)???? Seriously, I think that if he declares, he'll probably be another 2nd-3rd round guy. He has a ton of upside, and most teams will notice.
  21. Oh. That's reasonable. After all, what's the chance you'd ever run across another Williams anyway? Let's stick to obscure names, where we know we can't go wrong. Like......Flowers???
