  1. Control it? Quite the opposite! I want to become a father before I become a senior citizen.
  2. So, did you win? I have 3 Yahoo! leagues I'm in w/ people from the Wall and one on NFL.com's site. I won one of the Yahoo! leagues.
  3. Pending any babies being born in our household, I would like to attend the Chicago game and I'm sure there'll be another tailgate @ Sliders for the Ravens game, whether I'm there or not. The only other road trip I plan on making is to South Bend to watch Penn State play "that school".
  4. I know. You're right. It is what it is.
  5. Heck, if people could play baseball w/ Ty Cobb, I think the Bills can find a way to play football w/ JP if he does improve.
  6. And, as the Philly episode has shown us: the fans are always right.
  7. Ya got me there. You managed to pick the one winning season the Browns had under Belichick in his 5 year tenure. I stand corrected: Gregg had 3 losing seasons here while Belichick had only 4 in his 5 year stint in Cleveland.
  8. I think they should try to swap for the #2 pick, get an additional pick, and use the 2nd pick on Ferguson.
  9. He's done as much as Shanahan did as a coordinator in San Fransisco, or as Belichick did w/ the Giants, Jets, and Patriots before taking over as head coach. Those guys failed in their first attempts, got on the staffs of experienced coaches, and then performed well enough as coordinators to earn another shot as head coach, where they did better. I'm not saying Gregg will have the same level of success, but I'm also not saying it's a fact that he won't. Why? Because I don't know that to be a fact. Neither do you.
  10. I'm curious to know why there's no possibility that he, like Shanahan and Belichick before him, cannot come back and succeed the second time around. Lay it on us.
  11. This has got to stop.
  12. Steven, as a coordinator, Gregg had as much success as Belichick or Shanahan (remember, he coordinated the Titans' top ranked defense). If you have evidence to the contrary, I hope you'll share it w/ us.
  13. I like Patrick. I even get a kick out of the way Maguire picks on Theeeeeesman. He just doesn't know when to shut up, unfortunately.
  14. Nah. I saw on the Bills' website that his story isn't true.
  15. There's that word again.
  16. I'm just hoping it's not PP's swan song. I have a bad feeling that it is.
  17. You're right. Look @ how badly Shanahan floundered away from Walsh and Seifert, not to mention how badly Belichick floundered away from Parcells. Maybe we should wait and see before ASSuming we know he'll flounder, eh? We don't want to seem like disgruntled Cleveland (Belichick) or Oakland (Shanahan) fans, do we?
  18. Randy Cross thanks you, as does Brent Jones.
  19. Hahahahahahahahahaha!!!!!!!!!!
  20. Hahaha!!! I've already been put on notice that if we do have a child around the beginning of the season, I'm not to go to any games this year, which would also mean me missing the Penn State-Notre Dame game in South Bend that I've been looking forward to for the past 3 or 4 years. Small price to pay.
  21. Perhaps you're right. Forgive me, as I'm a bit of a novice about the sport and sometimes can get carried away.
  22. I'm checking the boards while my patient is resting. She's a bit under the weather.
