  1. A guy who admitted to taking steroids (only for a little bit in the offseason......riiiiiiiight!), led a habitually underachieving team in New Orleans that folded @ the end of the season annually, AND accused one of the greatest Bills (and, arguably, my favorite all-time Bill) of also using steriods? No thanks.
  2. Bills? Organizational structure?
  3. If the Pats lose tomorrow, Mangini could be the Jets' head coach on Sunday.
  4. I remember when I was going over to Berlin to begin my 2 year tour overseas. I sat next to John Huarte, the QB @ Notre Dame who hooked up w/ Snow to make a great 1-2 punch for the Irish (good enough for Huarte to win the Heisman). A very humble guy, considering he did win the Heisman and did get to be on a Super Bowl champion (KC Chiefs).
  5. That other Bush guy (I think his name is Reggie?) is going to have his press conference in a few minutes (1:30pm, I think) to announce if he'll declare for the draft or not. Gee; I wonder if he will....
  6. Not to rain on your parade, but didn't Curtis Martin also rush for 1,000 yards in 8 consecutive seasons? I'm not 100% sure, but I thought he did.
  7. I like that mock. Don't know if Watson will be around for a third round pick. If he is, I'd say take him! He's more of what we need: a 2 gap run stuffer. I keep seeing people say take Rodrique Wright or Claude Wroten. While they are very talented tackles, we need a run stuffer more than another athletic tackle that can rush from the inside. Watson is a better fit for that need than either Wroten or Wright. Jacobs is an intriguing pick. I'd think that Watson would be more of a priority than Jacobs in the 2nd, but if Jacobs were available w/ an early 3rd, why not? Devin Hester? NO WAY, especially for a third! The guy regressed horribly this year, and I'd steer clear of him.
  8. I guess the people who do the hiring know more than we fans do. That's how people like Dan Henning end up getting jobs (he's doing a fairly decent job in Carolina) even though we fans think it's a stupid move.
  9. That's about right.
  10. The answer, my friend, is blowing in the wind...
  11. The Hall doesn't know what it wants to be. If it was all about stats, Lynn Swann wouldn't get in. If it was all about championships, Tommy McDonald wouldn't get in. When McDonald was inducted, I figured it was only a matter of time before Swann was, because they had run out of excuses. Both had compelling arguments for induction and both had been shelved numerous times before.
  12. Reliable, ain't they?
  13. He'd spend half the game arguing w/ his backs and receivers.
  14. Marv loves players like TO.
  15. Over the past few years, I've gotten so tired of everyone overusing the P word: plays. "We didn't make enough plays" has become so generic now. It seems like there's a new buzz word going around in NFL circles these days: respect. If we're to believe the quotes we get from players and coaches, nobody in the league gets any respect. As the late Nancy Marchand's character Livia Soprano would say, "Oh, poor you!" Get over it! You people are in the pros, for crying out loud! Stop your whining about how nobody loves you.
  16. Get it from the Johnson Smith catalog?
  17. As a coordinator he's not bad. As a head coach? No way.
  18. Again, here's a guy who has the championship experience that can lead the Bills to a title. After all, he did pretty well against us in two Super Bowl appearances, one of which he was named MVP. Marv could make him a nice offer that would be better than what Fox Sports pays him, I'm sure.
  19. Nobody knows for sure, since you never know what people are going to do in the first round, especially near the top of the round. That said, I believe it's doubtful that Super Mario will be there when the 8th pick comes up.
  20. Rodrique Wright? Nooooooo!!!! We need a 2 gap run stuffer, not another interior pass rusher who won't hold up against the run. He seems to be more of a 3 technique rather than a pure 1 gap or 2 gap. I'd rather see Gabe Watson here than Wright. He's the Wrong fit.
