  1. Happy birthday. Hope to see you soon. Hopefully, they'll have another draft party this year.
  2. Colledge isn't bad @ all. I would hope we could land a guy like Jonathan Scott in the 2nd, but his draft stock seems to be improving to the point where he's been mentioned as a potential first round pick.
  3. Considering the fact that I've hardly posted outside of the college football/draft forums recently, I don't believe you need to hide from me.
  4. Happy belated birthday.
  5. Order one online. They should have some in stock, I think.
  6. Anyone have any sleepers they've become aware of that could benefit the Bills? There's a few I've watched, but here's two that come to mind quickly: David Pittman, CB, Northwestern St After a pretty good showing in Mobile as a late addition to the Senior Bowl, Pittman might not be much of a sleeper, but I still don't think he'll go really high in the draft. If he's around in the 4th or later, man would I like to see the Bills draft him! Bio From NFL Draft Countdown Will Allen, G, Texas Not a sleeper in the traditional sense, but not as highly regarded as many of the guards in this draft. I watched his Senior Bowl performance, and I thought he did very well. I saw him get out on a really nice block on a screen, and I saw him handle some pretty tough DTs inside, holding his ground in pass protection and getting good push in run blocking. Both of those things are weaknesses I see many of the draft sites highlighting as reasons Allen will slip to around the 4th round. If his Senior Bowl (not to mention his peformances in both the Red River Shootout and the Rose Bowl) performance is indication of his "weakness", I'd say he's well worth the gamble in the 4th if he's there. 7. It's been fixed, thanks to ~NG~.
  8. It's not a private deal @ all, Chuck. It was set up a few years ago as a way for some of us displaced Bills fans to get together to hang out. Usually, a small group of 7-10 of us end up hanging out in Baltimore, and we try to do something different each time. The first time, we spent the day @ the Inner Harbor, the next time, we did the Inner Harbor cruise (a lot of fun). Last year, I tried to set up a picnic-type affair where people could bring their families and we'd get some space @ one of the area parks to grill some food, maybe play some games, and just hang out. That's also the plan for this year's get together, which I am working on. It would be nice if you could make it.
  9. Yet another wild card who would be a great addition. Personally, I'd hope we address the lines first, but this guy is a tremendous talent. Bio From NFL Draft Countdown
  10. Here's another wild card, though probably less likely as he may not last until the 8th. If he does, it could make things interesting. Bio From NFL Draft Countdown
  11. A possible wild card, if there's any kind of trade down scenario by the Bills. This guy is very impressive, and would be a great addition to an aging secondary. Bio From NFL Draft Countdown
  12. If we can't get Ferguson w/ the 8th pick, I sure hope we land this guy! I also realize that may be a pipe dream w/out some sort of trade up, so all we can hope for is that this guy falls due to other players being sought after. Bio From NFL Draft Countdown
  13. Ngata is the popular pick here, and if we do nothing in free agency to address the DT problem, I guess it wouldn't be a horrible pick for the Bills. The guy is a big, strong 2 gap tackle that should contribute immediately for whatever team drafts him. Bio From NFL Draft Countdown
  14. Here's the player bio NFL Draft Countdown did on Ferguson. I have made no secret that I think he's the 2nd best player in the entire draft (after Reggie Bush) and I hope and pray that he falls to the Bills in the 8th spot. Thoughts?
  15. Ah yes, the old sick call. I remember making that trip a couple times while I was stationed in Berlin. We'd have to get from our job site to the hospital and then back to the site, unless they sent you home for the day (fat chance). It only wasted about half the day, that's all.
  16. I don't mind answering it. Many people here know I work for SSA. You have way more sick time than I do. I may have half of that, but not much more.
  17. And thus the need for the change.
  18. W/ the way things have been going around here recently? Probably.
  19. Actually, my SCD (service comp date) is 07/07/96, so I'm only about 5 1/2 years away from my 8 hrs per pay period!
  20. I get 4 hrs per pay period, which works out to be 13 sick days per year. Unlike annual leave, we accrue sick leave @ the same rate forever. Annual leave goes from 4 hrs per pay period (first 2 yrs) to 6 (next 13 years) to 8. Only 6 more years 'til I get up to 8 hrs annual leave per pay period!
  21. Happy birthday, man.
