  1. Or Mario Williams, D'Brickashaw Ferguson
  2. I'm going to take that as "better suited" as opposed to thinking Ferguson is the 8th best player in the entire draft. In my opinion, he's the 2nd best plaeyer in this draft after Reggie Bush, just ahead of Mario Williams.
  3. No, screw that! The more players that declare, the better the chance that someone (Mario Williams??) will be available in the 8th spot.
  4. You just getting up, eh? Good morning. Did you enjoy your 5 year slumber?
  5. We just see things a bit different, that's all. A lot of the mishaps you mentioned (penalties, fumbles) were forced by the defenses. That's what I love to watch. The game was basically a chess match between Mickey Andrews and Tom Bradley. Thanks to a few standout plays by Michael Robinson (the TD pass @ the end of the 1st half and his determined short run to pick up a first down in the 2nd half, among others), Tom Bradley came out on the winning end of that match. That's Anwar Phillips, and he's very tough. He and Alan Zemaitis, the opposite corner, played excellent all night. They both will be drafted in April, I'm sure. I personally wouldn't mind seeing the Bills go after Zemaitis.
  6. As a former college LB, I happen to love watching good defensive football, which last night's game was. The way Mickey Andrews was able to turn on the heat and keep Michael Robinson bottled up for most of the game was impressive, even more so when you consider that Penn State under JoePa is notorious for making excellent halftime adjustments. Nothing they came up w/ could stop that pressure. It was very impressive. Conversely, Tom Bradley's D forced Weatherford out of his comfort spots also, and the corners were just amazing, locking up FSU's outside receivers. The DL played well when they needed to, esepcially tackles Jay Alford and Scott Paxson. Tamba Hali was able to make his presence known a bit also, but not until later, when he had worn down FSU's offensive tackle David Overmeyer, who was holding (sometimes literally) his own until the end of the game.
  7. Aren't you watching the PC right now?
  8. Oh. You mean ONE Bills Drive. I gotcha.
  9. That's Talonz, not Francis.
  10. Even more than SDS????
  11. The difference being that those guys are Pro Bowl players who have "shown and proven", while we're hoping our guys can play @ that level. Ah, hope. Where would we be w/out it? There's always next year...
  12. You mean like: Alan Faneca Jeff Hartings Marvel Smith
  13. Why not sit w/ us? Marv could B word w/ the best of them. He'd fit in nicely in Section 123.
  14. I know I was hoping JP would get the opportunity to learn on the job, Dave. It just wasn't going to happen though.
  15. Shhhh, Gavin! That was a closed door meeting w/ the Inner Circle!
  16. Mario Williams measures up well to Julius Peppers: he's 6-7, 285 and is very quick. They say he also has around 6% body fat, so he's a big athlete, much like Peppers was coming out of North Carolina. Not to mention, the guy gets it done on the field as well, as he's a feared pass rusher who is also no slouch against the run.
  17. Yes, but I do expect the Rams to attempt to re-sign him. Then again, that might also depend on who the settle on as their new head coach. I know Vitt really likes Pickett, so if he's in the mix somehow (new head coach, assistant on new coach's staff), I think Pickett stays.
  18. Most of what I've seen on the Rams' DL focuses on the problems they've had getting someone to pair w/ Pickett inside. Jimmy Kennedy had a really nice start to the season, but by midseason, had lost his job to Damione Lewis, who wasn't a whole heck of a lot better. They could also use an upgrade outside, as Leonard Little is still solid, but Anthony Hargrove is serviceable. To his credit though, he did finish the season up pretty nice, so they have some hope for him.
  19. Of the ones I'm aware of, here's some possibilities: Kendrick Clancy Ma'ake Kemoeatu Grady Jackson Ed Jasper These guys probably will be re-signed, but if they're not, I'd consider them: Ryan Pickett Larry Triplett Chris Hovan
  20. Look again. They changed it.
  21. Haha!! Thing w/ all this is, if you're going to make changes to improve the team, just make them.
  22. More drama by the Bills' front office. "We're going to make a decision soon. Maybe today.....or tomorrow.......stay tuned."
