  1. No. Mularkey retires, stating that "He's achieved his dream." We'll hire Tom Coughlin, as we know this team would be much better w/ him as our coach. Or John Fox... Or Marvin Lewis (who cares if he didn't want the job; we'll force it on him!)... Or Marv Levy (he's still a spring chicken...compared to Strom Thurmond)... Or (name of latest coulda/shoulda/woulda coach here)...
  2. True, and LJ also had a Roaf, a Priest, a Shields, and some guy named Dick @ the helm.
  3. You're forgetting the Bucs' salary cap woes, forcing them to release Ronde Barber and Brian Kelly, who we sign @ a reduced rate. Then there's also the trade of our 7th round picks in the next 3 drafts to Philly for Brian Dawkins.
  4. 1. Lose out this season. 2. Get the top pick. 3. Draft Reggie Bush. 4. Trade Willis for the #2 pick. 5. Trade Clements (after re-signing him) for the #5 pick. 6. Trade the #2 pick for a pick around #10, acquire an additional 2nd. 7. Draft D'Brickashaw Ferguson w/ the 5th pick. 8. Draft Haloti Ngata w/ the 10th pick. 9. Draft OL and DL w/ our picks in rounds 2-5. 10. Sign G Steve Hutchinson from Seattle. 11. Sign C LeCharles Bentley from New Orleans. 12. Trade Milloy, Vincent, a set of steak knives, and a year's supply of Jiffy Pop to the Broncos for Champ Bailey. 13. Trade Aaron Schobel to Carolina for Julius Peppers: straight up trade. They're both feared pass rushers, so the Panthers would jump all over this deal. 14. Sign Michael Strahan after the Giants cut him. Vet minimum. 15. Trade Jason Peters, Tim Euhus, Ryan Denney, and our 1st round pick in the 2008 draft to San Diego for Antonio Gates. Once we do these few simple moves, then we'll be ready to go.
  5. Do they have any diminuative receivers w/ blazing speed?
  6. This team is bad in many facets. There is no one person who stands out as THE cause of all the Bills' woes. Many people have had a hand in this train wreck of a season. The OL play is pretty bad, as I've said numerous times over the years, but Willis has had opportunities to do more than what he's done so far, and has come up short. So has everyone on the roster: nobody can say they've done their job day in and day out while the others have not. What needs to happen for this team to become competitive again is the Bills need to realize they have to make a lot of changes, but mainly in their approach to how the team is run. Once that is done, things will fall into place.
  7. Sure they do: @ the U!!!
  8. They're good enough to block enough for him to get to the magical 62.5 ypg mark (aka 1,000 yards), yet not good enough for him to sustain a decent ypc average or to score more than 4 TDs all season?
  9. Well.....see........if you get one that's really really fast, he can get open before the QB takes the sack, and then you can move the chains and score points. Problem solved.
  10. You want Regis Philbin?
  11. Like it was 5 years ago.
  12. Remember to bust out your "Let's Go Buffa__!" signs also.
  13. It's going to be a great time next week. I'm sure glad I will be there.
  14. So, the Texans are going to win out?
  15. Way back when. They went to a place where you'd expect wheels to end up: Indianapolis.
  16. There may not be a bunch of team that want to trade up to the Bills' pick though, unless the pick is high enough that Bush is still on the board.
  17. Was I the only person who found it a bit weird that the Bills were sitting on 3 timeouts and chose not to use any of them? If they were just going to let the clock run, why were the starters (offensive and defensive) still on the field? Why not put in the reserves to give them a little PT if you're conceding the game?
  18. I am rapidly losing faith in any of the coaches on this staff.
  19. I'm not going to the game. Nick in England has my tickets this week. I will be there for next Saturday's game though.
  20. Psycho Ward 86 and I were watching a show on the Pittsburgh Fox sports channel, and someone asked a question that I just had to share w/ you all. A guy named 'Ivan' (from Miami; how ironic) called in regards to the Steelers. He asked the host if he thought that the Steelers' drafts in the past few years have been worse due to the loss of Donahoe (actually, he said Donahue). I almost had a heart attack on hearing that question! The show host just asked the guy how many playoff appearances the Bills have had since Donahoe was hired. How many was that again?
  21. Was it?
  22. Not bad, but I'd keep Wire. Throw in Losman, McGahee, Evans, Spikes, Clements (after we re-sign him), and our first round pick, and that's a great deal.
  23. Man, we let a winning QB go, didn't we? Like they say, "all he does is win". And this team sure needs a winner right now. Can someone post Flutie's playoff stats and the Bills' win-loss record for the postseason w/ Flutie @ the helm?
  24. Who's Eric Moulds?
  25. Moulds sucks, just like that bum Jim Kelly. And it's all Donahoe's fault.
