  1. Now that's just wrong.
  2. I "thought" so too.
  3. Willis McGahee: 5 rushing TDs
  4. Houston Texans' GM Kevbeau. It has a nice ring to it, certainly nicer than GM Charlie Casserley.
  5. Actually, I heard this same rumor on the radio this morning.
  6. While I admit Neuheisel is a pretty good coach, Boller followed up 2 very good games toward the end of the season: 19 of 27 for 253 yds, 3 TDs 0 INT (136.8 rating) vs Green Bay 24 of 34 for 289 yds, 3 TDs 1 INT (113.5 rating) vs Minnesota with a more Boller-like outing: 15 of 36 for 151 yds, 0 TDs 2 INTs (31.1 rating) to end the season against Cleveland.
  7. Me too, but if Ferguson was there and we had the choice of either, I'd hope we'd take Ferguson. Either one would make me very happy though. I just hope one or both of them are available when we pick.
  8. That may or may not be true. The Penn State defense would've given Texas all they could handle, that's for sure. They also would've brought more pressure from the edge, something USC couldn't do even when they tried (for a lot of the game, especially the 2nd half, they played contain, so they didn't blindly rush that often from the edge). But, would PSU have been able to score in the high 20s/low 30s on Texas? That's the tough part. I just don't know. Michael Robinson had a fantastic season, and thrived on such challenges, so I think Penn State would have a shot.
  9. Ooh! Ooh! What did he say next? Please post every word.
  10. I'm not listening to it online or watching it on ESPN News.
  11. Or Mario Williams, D'Brickashaw Ferguson
  12. I'm going to take that as "better suited" as opposed to thinking Ferguson is the 8th best player in the entire draft. In my opinion, he's the 2nd best plaeyer in this draft after Reggie Bush, just ahead of Mario Williams.
  13. No, screw that! The more players that declare, the better the chance that someone (Mario Williams??) will be available in the 8th spot.
  14. You just getting up, eh? Good morning. Did you enjoy your 5 year slumber?
  15. We just see things a bit different, that's all. A lot of the mishaps you mentioned (penalties, fumbles) were forced by the defenses. That's what I love to watch. The game was basically a chess match between Mickey Andrews and Tom Bradley. Thanks to a few standout plays by Michael Robinson (the TD pass @ the end of the 1st half and his determined short run to pick up a first down in the 2nd half, among others), Tom Bradley came out on the winning end of that match. That's Anwar Phillips, and he's very tough. He and Alan Zemaitis, the opposite corner, played excellent all night. They both will be drafted in April, I'm sure. I personally wouldn't mind seeing the Bills go after Zemaitis.
  16. As a former college LB, I happen to love watching good defensive football, which last night's game was. The way Mickey Andrews was able to turn on the heat and keep Michael Robinson bottled up for most of the game was impressive, even more so when you consider that Penn State under JoePa is notorious for making excellent halftime adjustments. Nothing they came up w/ could stop that pressure. It was very impressive. Conversely, Tom Bradley's D forced Weatherford out of his comfort spots also, and the corners were just amazing, locking up FSU's outside receivers. The DL played well when they needed to, esepcially tackles Jay Alford and Scott Paxson. Tamba Hali was able to make his presence known a bit also, but not until later, when he had worn down FSU's offensive tackle David Overmeyer, who was holding (sometimes literally) his own until the end of the game.
  17. Aren't you watching the PC right now?
  18. Oh. You mean ONE Bills Drive. I gotcha.
  19. That's Talonz, not Francis.
  20. Even more than SDS????
  21. The difference being that those guys are Pro Bowl players who have "shown and proven", while we're hoping our guys can play @ that level. Ah, hope. Where would we be w/out it? There's always next year...
  22. You mean like: Alan Faneca Jeff Hartings Marvel Smith
  23. Why not sit w/ us? Marv could B word w/ the best of them. He'd fit in nicely in Section 123.
