  1. Conjunction junction. That’s what junction.
  2. No excuses. Only reasons. And if anyone at OBD is looking for the former vs. finding solutions to the latter, they need to pull a Vontae and clear out. Preferably BEFORE the game starts.
  3. Has Preston Brown tweeted anything about the weird things that must be going on in Pittsburgh?
  4. It’s an attack vs. read and react sort of thing.
  5. I suspect Brown would still love playing for Buffalo is they offered him what he wanted. Funny how, love works.
  6. Davis’s halftime retirement reflects poorly on one party and one party only. Never knew new I had something in common with Preston Brown, though. We are BOTH glad he’s no longer on this team.
  7. You are getting a guy who has literally never shown he has what it takes to succeed as a player in college or the pros. Prodigious physical talent. ZERO ability to apply it on any consistent basis whatsoever. But yeah, all he needs is a change of scenery to finally get it.
  8. The difference between Gordon and that late round pick is that you really don’t know what you’re getting with the drafted player. You know exactly what Gordon’s body of work entails.
  9. GMs and sports writers have been using the term to describe truly exceptional prospects in football, basketball, and hockey since I was a kid. But it was never over-used like it has been for the last 10 years or so. The term has become so watered down it’s almost meaningless.
  10. I can recall that term being applied to Gretzky when he was 16.
  11. Crosby, Lemieux, Gretzky? The next generational player will be identified when we start hearing of an 11 year old doing amazing things against older competition in some junior midget league, in some obscure Canadian hamlet.
  12. People are laughing at my favorite team! Oh, the shame! The impact on my daily life has been catastrophic and I don’t think I can face it. Damn you, Bills! Damn you to hell, I say!
  13. Not upset so much at the record, but more at how they’ve looked getting there, especially on the D side of things. This defense, particularly the secondary, has regressed. That’s a bit concerning.
  14. Not thumbing my nose at the idea of acquiring WR help as we need it more than any team out there. I’m simply saying “pass” on certain wideouts. That may sound like being a choosy beggar, but I believe adding certain players just isn’t worth the trouble down the road.
  15. Literally never heard of this in over 50 years of football fandom. Obviously, Davis needs to be shown the door, officially. And I want Allen, not Kyle or Lorax or another aging vet in a "leadership role, nor any coach, to get up in front of that room and let everyone know in no uncertain terms that, for good or ill, this is our team. And if you don't want to be on our team, then get the F out of here right now and quit wasting everyone else's time. Gotta come from Josh Allen. It's never too early to make the team his.
  16. LOL. This place is ICE on steroids lately. And ICE was already on steroids!
  17. Yep. Doesn't get any more definitive than that.
  18. Sorry, but I'm not into the 20/20 hindsight, Monday morning QBing mind set. It serves absolutely no purpose and has absolutely no bearing on the current situation. I get that it helps to vent our frustration but, again, it is not constructive. It's safe to say the Pegulas have made mistakes, the GM has made mistakes, our coaches have made mistakes, and our players have made mistakes. But I'm supposed to believe that Mahomes, under the same group of mistake-making idiots would be performing as well as he is in KC. That's an absurd proposition.
  19. Our front office is the worst front office in the history of the league and it makes the Browns look like the the Patriots*** by comparison. Just don't tell me Mahomes would be just as good in Buffalo as he is in KC. No !@#$ way.
  20. Yes, and? Nobody's arguing that here. McBeane could have done many things differently but that's kind of a moot point now. If you choose to wallow in wrong decisions, don't let me stop you. I just don't want anyone to tell me Mahomes would be just as good with our personnel as he is with the supporting cast he has in KC. Have you seen the plays his receivers have been making? Mahomes has been great, don't get me wrong, but we don't have anyone that can take a five yard crossing pattern and turn it into a 75 yard TD currently.
  21. Who the F is blindly following any staff here? For crissakes. People act as if Mahomes would be putting up the same stat line with our personnel as he is in KC. That's just a ridiculous take. I'm sure McBeane and Co. have screwed the pooch for this year seven ways to Sunday. That's not what I'm addressing though.
  22. Doesn't matter who "chose" it, Mahomes wouldn't be the same QB without the level of personnel he enjoys in KC. More power to him, the kid is phenomenal, but it ain't like he's playing with the Bills offense out there.
  23. Right, because Mahomes would have 10 TD passes in two games with this offense.
  24. A player in self-preservation mode in his contract year, another well past his best days, and a player with no love for the game who can’t get it together and is one mistake away from another season long suspension. Doesn’t sound better from where I sit.
