  1. They are off tomorrow, but practice on Tuesday. It’s not open to the public; media only.
  2. Hadn’t read that post before I posted myself. Anyway, I think you’re spot on regarding RBs and the importance of top end speed. It’s a “nice” to have, not a “need” to have. I’d bet Singletary and other backs like him would hold their own in 10 yard split times.
  3. Agree entirely except for the bold text. Sanders ran in the 4.3s, so he had plenty of top end speed.
  4. And a matching clipboard.
  5. Low man wins as the saying goes. Nice to see.
  6. It’s all about being able to shake off a bad play and keep plugging. Perhaps the most important trait a player can have. This was nice to read.
  7. He was not a TT fan, so I think Woods would agree with you.
  8. I’ll just let it go at that.
  9. Not familiar with his schtick so I appreciate the heads up.
  10. I don’t care if it doesn’t matter to you or not. I’d like to know GunnerBill’s reasons why he might think they’d have flourished as much in Buffalo. Bottom line to you seems to be that even if Allen goes onto to have a HOF career in Buffalo, it was still a mistake to pass on Mahomes or Watson. And that’s fine, but debating people with intractable mindsets is tiresome. So have at it with someone else while I await GunnerBill’s response to my question if he chooses to.
  11. Bottom line is that, compared to last year at this time, we are seeing a night and day difference in performance across several aspects of the team. It’s a positive development no matter how much we can downplay it if we choose.
  12. Does that mean I can’t be interested in his reasons why Mahomes and Watson would have been just as good in Buffalo? I maintain there is no way that would have been the case, so I’d like to get his reasoning.
  13. If it doesn’t matter, then why did GunnerBill suggest we should not to argue that neither Mahomes or Watson wouldn’t have been as good in Buffalo as they are in their respective situations in KC and Houston? Besides, I asked GunnerBill for his input as l like his logical responses to things, but thanks for chiming in with your keen insight as well.
  14. If you’re suggesting they’d be just as good here, I’d like to hear the argument why because nothing about their respective experiences in KC and Houston would be the same.
  15. So glad that even though we have all those professional reporters and other observers out there tweeting non stop that we have you out there to give us the real story.
  16. I hear that and my expectations are definitely tempered, but I’ve like the trajectory Daboll was on since the second half of last year. The fact he has some new toys at his disposal is something to be excited about.
  17. I’m looking forward to Foster and Brown split wide with Beasley and Zay in the slots in four receiver sets. I also love the idea of Knox as a fifth in that scenario.
  18. He’s not “that” guy all the time. He can be an acerbic little prick when things aren’t going well. Ask any of his QBs over the years.
  19. The player’s union might not want to allow that in the next CBA like they did last time. Goodell is the judge, jury, and executioner because the players agreed.
  20. There also hasn’t been anything negative for the doomsdayers to seize upon, either. They’ll be back as soon as a negative report gets posted. Like flies to a turd pile.
