Nobody, NOBODY, in the NFL is NOT motivated to do their jobs better. In a business that defines the very nature of the “what have you done for me lately” mindset, EVERYBODY involved is dedicated to doing something NOW. We, as fans, just can’t believe that’s the case. And that says more about us than it does about those in charge of our favorite teams.

“Dole you the gouge?” I need Tre White to translate that.

Well, here we are again. Starting in the 2015/2016 season in Bylsma’s first year and continuing through Housley’s tenure, this team went into their bye week well within striking distance of a playoff spot and needing to come out of the break making noise, only to fold like the proverbial cheap tent; the task simply being too big for their fragile psyches. Which way will this team, under Krueger, decide to go this season? 9 of their next 10 at home, including five in a row upon returning to action. If there was EVER a time when the hockey gods provided an opportunity to make a move, this is it.

Not confounding at all. He’s on a two year crusade and crusaders must be 100% correct on all things all the time in order to justify the crusade. It’s what zealots do.

Your nearly two year long anti-Allen screed has grown way beyond tiresome, so why don’t we just cut to the chase: what is the point behind your crusade? That Allen sucks and will never be any good? Fine. Why don’t you just state that emphatically instead of polluting thread after thread after thread with your bullcrap and move along?

Nice breakdown by Turner as usual. Edwards seems to have an advanced understanding of coverages and how to beat them. Turner makes a GREAT point about footwork and how Edwards uses similar footwork on different routes. The better pro DBs key on this and receivers who can offer up the same looks on different routes have an advantage.

All comparisons of this type are absurd when you think about it. Amusing, but absurd none the less. Until someone invents a time machine that will allow Allen and Wilson to re-play their first two years on each other’s teams with the same 52 other moving parts, coaching staffs, and every other exact circumstance, then we really can’t make an accurate comparison between their respective first two seasons in the league. It’s funny how we simply want to disregard all the other aspects involved. As if Allen and Wilson are simply two, stand alone, interchangeable parts.

While it would have been nice to hit one or both of them, any number of a combination of two plays in either game would have made a difference as well. But games are won and lost over the course of there entirety, not on a couple plays.

Once again proving that passing offense doesn’t need to be prolific to be highly effective. -

Two years of competent coaching then compared to his peers. Again, it’s amazing Allen was able to take advantage of such minimal exposure. I choose to give him some credit for that.
