Bills 4th Round Pick : Deone Walker - DT - Kentucky
K-9 replied to Simon's topic in The Stadium Wall
I greatly appreciated the context of the rep vs. the 5’10” 270lb guard that “won” the “pass pro” matchup against Walker, who was maligned in the twitter-verse for not being able to beat such a much smaller man. It was apparent to anyone with half a clue that it was a run blocking drill and Walker not only “won” the rep, he embarrassed the guy trying to block him. -

Knocking his WGR presser out of the park. His enthusiasm is contagious and I think we are gonna love this kid. -
It would secure a fifth year option for the Browns.

Back in ‘88 we took a guy with a post-op knee and he turned out just fine.

C’mon. Murph is a local boy.

Who is Tyler Warren’s grandfather?

You know what’s worse than trying to build with no answer at QB? Trying to build with the wrong answer at QB. After Ward, there really aren’t any QBs worth building around. Getting other pieces and creating a better team for a good QB prospect to come into when you can get one isn’t a bad idea.

All four redefined the position.

I was halfway up the aisle on my way out when Hooks caught the first pass to get us in Pats*** territory so I thought lets just see what happens. Watched the TD grab from from that very aisle. Glad I stayed.

Who is the best Corner in Bills history?
K-9 replied to Royale with Cheese's topic in The Stadium Wall
I appreciate this list and I’m wondering what the criteria is for determining Approximate Value. How much do INTs contribute? I’m not surprised that Sanders would top the list. Of all the CBs I’ve seen in person, he is the best I’ve ever seen play the position. -
Stadium Construction Discussion (No PSL/Seat selection posts)
K-9 replied to JÂy RÛßeÒ's topic in The Stadium Wall
In another life back in the 70s I worked stage construction for numerous concerts at the stadium and semi trucks had no issue backing down the tunnel for us to unload the steel required to build the stage. No turning around was ever necessary. -
I agree on GoT but if House of the Dragon is any indication, the franchise is doing ok.

Robert James and it’s not even close. He was a shut down CB before the term was coined. Routinely shut down HOF receivers back in the day. And he was destined for a gold jacket until the knee injury robbed him of his career.- 159 replies

Jimmy O has long been respected as a cap guru around the league and any criticism he received from fans was misinformed. He is still the first person Beane consults on cap matters.

It is illegal. Just like all the other illegal things are that don’t always get called. In 2005, when they legalized pushing, they should have also legalized pulling, too, to remove any ambiguity. Personally, I don’t like runners being assisted by either.
-
True, but assisting the runner by pulling is illegal, regardless. Refs don’t call half the crap that occurs during a game anyway. 2005

I never liked that they made assisting the runner by pushing legal in 2005. Why not allow pulling the runner as well?
