  1. Worked to near perfection against the Phins when we beat them earlier this season. McD came up with a great scheme that day, one that Miami’s McD complimented him on after the game. I don’t understand why we haven’t seen more of it since.
  2. I really wish we had Daquan to pair him with. Damn.
  3. Add “drama queen” to the list of adjectives used in describing Hill.
  4. I believe they’re tied at three apiece as Mahomes won in Buffalo in 2020.
  5. The officials don’t “warn” the wideouts unless the receiver checks with the ref first. It’s quite common to see receivers who are split wide in the formation check with the line judge upon lining up at the LOS. There were a couple things working against Toney on that play: he was lined up in the slot inside an offset Kelce and he never checked with the line judge upon lining up. It is incumbent upon the player to check, not on the official to offer advice.
  6. Kansas City lost in the most Billsy of ways and who could have predicted that. Alive for another week.
  7. Let’s hope he doesn’t choose Osama Bin Ladin as the example of a martyr.
  8. Is that the same innovative mind that is 1-3 vs. the inferior McDermott and who was lucky to even get that one win?
  9. I don’t think the intention was to hit a man when he’s down, either. I was referring to a previous post that suggested that may have been the reason for Dunne’s timing in releasing the article.
  10. Hadn’t thought of the Christmas angle and that’s a fair point. But the team’s low point came after losing to Denver. If the intent was to hit a man when he was down, that was the better time.
  11. Critical thinking at key moments during games has been an issue with McD since he got here. His strong point has never been game day management.
  12. Then dropping it after the Denver game would have been the better time to do it.
  13. I wasn’t being sarcastic in the least. Sorry you took it that way. Perhaps interpreting light-hearted comments isn’t your forte.
  14. Both utterly bizarre, but landing on it intentionally is beyond the pale. Of the countless number of examples of teamwork he could have cited, to choose the perpetrators of the single greatest attack on our soil in history is unacceptable on every level. He’s a bigger idiot than I thought he was.
  15. Football is a cruel goddamn game. Sick of seeing guys getting injured every game.
  16. Fair enough. But really, every owner rarely opens their wallet for a name brand coach. Partly because they are rarely available and in the rare cases they are it’s usually because the the bloom is off the rose, their teams are in decline and they are fired. Good point about the Pegulas as they certainly won’t be afraid to pay top dollar for someone. But again, what top coach will be available? The great coaches tend to stay where they achieved their greatness.
  17. This isn’t entirely true. John Rauch, Lou Saban II, Chuck Knox, and Marv Levy were all at or near the top of head coaching salaries. And at one time or another he had the highest paid players at their respective positions in the league, not the least of which was Kelly who he made the highest paid player in history at the time. He often rewarded successful coaches and players. Had any of his cheaper coaching hires had panned out, he would have awarded them as well, imo.
