This year in particular has that WWE feeling to me regarding a certain team and trying to get a certain player yet another ring. It just feels to me like they aren't even trying to hide it anymore. Going back about 5 years or so ago, Arthur Blank, the owner of the Falcons let this comment slip past his lips "I wish we were chosen for this years Super Bowl". There has been talk on why the NFL is going down in the ratings. Some say it's the player protests. Some claim it's because of CTE in the players. To me it's the non stop kissing of a certain teams backside in what I believe the league wants in the Super Bowl and will do whatever it takes to get them there..

The game went pretty much on script just as I expected. The defense kept the Bills in it early, the league took a Bills TD away for no reason, the referees gave the patriots a few generous ball placements, they also only threw two penalty flags against them for the 2nd week in a row. Yep, just as it was written by the leagues script writers.

I've thought for years that the patriots seemed to always be the beneficiaries of bad calls but this year has been blatant and very obvious. Bills - Kelvin Benjamin TD overturned Steelers - Jesse James TD overturned Texans - Cooks made TD catch very similar to the Steelers TE catch but theirs wasn't overturned. Jets TD overturned Chargers - mystery offensive pass interference on Chargers that would have set them up in the red zone late in the game. As for the argument that it attracts fans... It does the opposite for me. I won't see the Dolphins game because I'll be working Sunday but I also won't watch another game this season unless the patriots are eliminated from the playoffs.

The Chargers did pretty well drafting Eli Manning even though Manning said he wouldn't play for them. Besides getting Phillip Rivers they also received... 2004 3rd round pick which they used on Kicker Nate Kaeding 2005 1st round pick - Shawn Merriman 2005 5th round pick - traded to Tampa for OT Roman Oben. Not a bad haul. If the Browns draft Rosen and he refuses to play for them the Browns could make a bundle by trading him or forcing him to sit out for a year and enter the 2019 draft after not playing football for a year. Once Rosen makes the decision to enter the draft and hires an agent his college days are over. If Rosen decides to go back to school instead of entering the draft this year, he could still end up a Brown in 2019.

When they were taking too long to decide that Benjamin's TD wasn't a TD. I got the sense that the guy reviewing the play in NY was waiting to see a deposit into his bank account from Robert Kraft before making his decision. I'm so sick of the blatant garbage in the WWENFL that I may not watch another game til preseason next year. I sure as **** won't watch another patriot game, their outcomes are too predictable.

I wonder how much it costs Kraft for all of these calls. It has to be getting expensive.

The thought of the Bills retaliating for the assault by Gronkowski has to be in the back of their minds, the Bills should use that threat and psych them out. Make them think on every play that it's about to happen.

I thought he'd be interested in the Browns job if Hue gets whacked or traded to the Bengals. Isn't Gruden from the Cleveland area ? With the #1 pick in the draft to take Darnold or Rosen to go along with Kizer, Hogan and the kid from USC, seems like a perfect match for him.

The Vikings will be the first team to play at home in the Super Bowl ... They'll proceed to lose to the patriots on a BS end of game call. Just my prediction.

McCoy, Hyde and Poyer are fun to watch, the rest of the team not so much. Hopefully Benjamin can get and stay healthy next season. The snow globe game against the Colts was fun as were games against the Raiders, Broncos and Chiefs. The games against the Jets, Panthers, Saints, Chargers and patriots weren't much fun at all. This team needs a QB that can pass the ball, a LB that hits like a Peterbilt doing 100MPH and a DE that can knock QB's around on a regular basis. We also need a less conservative game plan IMO. Playing not to lose is mostly boring.
