The DL has been bad. The players that returned from last year, Hughes, Oliver, Murphy, Phillips have all regressed and Star opted out. Picking up players from the used Panthers pile haven't matched J.Phillips or Lawson. LB - Edmunds has regressed, Milano has been either hurt and out or hurt and playing anyway. Klein has not replaced Lorax. CB - White isn't playing like he is capable of, Taron Johnson has regressed, Norman is sometimes good but often not so much. S - Neither Poyer or Hyde are playing as well as they have in the past. This defense has a lot of talent, why are so many of these talented players regressing this year. Something changed and it needs to go back to what it was.

I still like the 4 Tackle and a Center formation ... 2 yards and a cloud of rubber pellets.

Went out on a charter boat to swim with the sharks off Belize a few years ago. We got in the water and they started throwing chum in, plus one of the deck hands brought some chum into the water to feed the rays. The chum brought in a half dozen or so Nurse Sharks which were about 6' long. They came close enough to us that we reached out and touched them. After that we went to a place just off Cay Caulker and hand fed some Tarpon.

The Bills were just playing the covid defense Monday night and it kind of worked, nobody seems to have caught the virus. The defense was following CDC guidelines and maintained safe distance from Tannehill and Henry, and they gave the receivers at least 3-4 yards open space on most pass plays. Judging by the number of false start penalties and jumping Offside penalties they didn't see to have their heads involved, Hopefully this week they'll be into the game a little bit more.

McDermott needs to take over defensive play calling again. When he has done it in the past it seemed to work. Hopefully what happens in Tennessee stays in Tennessee and none of our players bring the plague back to Buffalo.

Losing Jordan Phillips and his ability to disrupt the interior has hurt this defense.
