I’m hoping 17 puts on a show like he always does vs Miami. I think how we handle their blitz likely determine our fate. If Josh is on fire- we win. If the blitz gets to him and he gets a TO or 2, I think we’ll lose. I have faith that McD and Babich will put something together that will keep it competitive either way- if Josh is on fire, our d will probably get torched. If Josh isn’t playing well, our d will hopefully us keep us in the game. Another game decided by less than 6 points either way 23-20 good guys

To my eyes, the DB clearly tugged his jersey way after 5 yards and then Keon subsequently pushed him off. The db initiated the contacted knowing how to push off to create separation might be the best skill a physical WR can have. Let’s hope that he can master it

We allocate money to the defense because if your defense sucks, you have very little chance to win the SB. I too, wish that we had invested more into WR. Yet somehow, you are a dismal pillar of pain, while I’m still as enthusiastic as ever. We have the best player in the world and we can win a SB every season because of that fact. We’ve been contenders for 4 seasons. In 3 of those seasons, we were beaten by a dynasty team that rolls through everyone almost every postseason. It’s not as if we’re doing things wrong. We’ve been beaten the the better (and luckier):team. A transition season is inevitable for every team with stud QBs getting paid. They didn’t do it the way you would’ve done it- hence your aura of pessimism and sadness

It’s not a “clean win” but it was effective and his contribution helped create the sack. If Miller didn’t push his guy back, it probably wouldn’t have been a sack
