  1. Because the dead cap for cutting him was 3.5M more than his cap hit for keeping him. They like the kid. They don’t want to give up on him after 1 bad season. it wouldn’t have been hard to bring in another kicker, but you’d still have Bass as your kicker. There was no chance of replacing him.
  2. @GoBills808 Debate something….. or give him or credit he’s due.
  3. There’s also been a massive difference of the players on the field. Losing some of our best players matters? No? I don’t know for sure but averaging 3+ TDs is tough over that period of time
  4. Oh I don’t know- maybe missing 3 of our 4 top Lbers and playing Aj Klein 💯 of the snaps? No benford, injured Douglas, toasted poyer and Hyde. Andy Reid, Mahomes and Kelce are all time greats. Could possibly go down as the greatest offensive threesome in nfl history and everyone on that offense was healthy. They beat most teams.
  5. Yeah, maybe he should’ve rostered 12 LBers.
  6. Hahaha, thanks. I saw a good amount of Rickles but not in his prime, mostly his stuff in the 80’s.
  7. From my vantage point, this whole thing has just been in bad taste on your part. Oooh look at what I predicted….., injury. Awesome. Great job man. Here’s a cookie 🍪
  8. The fact that worthy was even mentioned in his post is pathetic
  9. It’s not crazy. Their OL is complete trash and they’re healthy. they have no run D. Tua needs a somewhat competent OL imo. Losing Connor Williams and Robert Hunt has crushed them.
  10. IMO, they suck because they took the Kyle Shanahan to roster building- -one stud OL with 4 scrubs —but Terron is no Trent and their OL coach hasn’t been able to coach up the rest like shanahans coaches have. -invest all the offensive resources on playmakers. -invested poorly in chubb and Ramsey. their IOL may be the worst in the league.
  11. Because I added “End of the Line” to my in-game play list. Clearly the reason
  12. Not sure if that’s necessarily the case anymore. According to spotrac it is, but I thought that the pay cut he took this season allowed us to get out after this season
  13. Then we move Ingram outside, cam back to the dime and Taron back to slot. im not an advocate for trading Elam though. I still think he may be our starter opposite benford next season (but I hope we can get Douglas back). He was really good last night all around. He and benford are a helluva pair
  14. And to get another bag from someone next season
  15. I disagree- It’s looking like we should just start Bernard till he gets hurt and then go with Andreeson and use the picks elsewhere.
  16. For sure- I’m happy with the way he handles Phillips last night. In years past, Phillips had his way with Spencer. I think my biggest worry with him has always been his back injury history, especially with a man that’s so tall. Could turn out to be a nice deal for us if he stays healthy though. I don’t hate it- I was just hoping we’d allocate more resources elsewhere. After watching last nights game, I’m starting to think we should just pick up UDFA’s and start them in the back 7. Save money there and put it into the OL/WR/DL
  17. And he took a pay cut- or did he? He’s on pace to make all that money back- all in all- considering the Von miller situation mid offseason, it looks like everything has played out in our best interests
  18. Fixed
  19. Rousseau, ed, Daquan, Von and a bunch of nobodies
  20. Feed him more!!! Such a stupid thing to do on McDaniels part. Dude isn’t gonna last
  21. This is a McDermott win. Bunch of backups and nobodies running around in the back 7- shutting down the leagues best stable of playmakers.
  22. He will. He’s different
  23. Get em von!!!!! LETS GOOOOOO
  24. Who needs linebackers????
