  1. Do you think Coleman is strictly an option the short and intermediate game? He may lack the explosion at the top of his routes to get open over the top but if he’s one on one he’s already somewhat open with the proper pass. He replaced our run blocking X WR with another run blocking X. But this one can actually make contested catches and even be a threat after the catch. The run game will be a big part of our offense and he can be an asset there. The weather will also play a role in our offense. Physicality is extremely important. Coleman is a physical component in both our run and pass game. Samuel has speed. Shakir has speed. Cook has speed. Kincaid has speed. Bringing in some muscle helps. Not to mention that the draft isn’t over and there are still more speed option available. Replacing what Gabe did well is complete. We replaced him with a superior player (imo anyway) that can do everything he did as well as thing he couldn’t do (contested catches and rac) And his lack of balance. Dude looks so dam weak!
  2. Anywhere near enough? As in what- we still have 7 picks…..we’ll draft another. Maybe even 2 Coleman, Samuel, Shakir, Hollins- Kincaid- knox we’ll be running lots of 12 personnel.and a good amount of 11. We’ll run some 10, but probably not too much….especially in the playoffs when the weather 💩 Sure, I’ll be ecstatic if we can land one or two of Franklin, Baker, Walker, Washington, rice, Wilson, thrash, cowing, Johnson, smith, Coker and a few others. Considering the depth of this WR class, I think Beane did good by waiting until day 3 to draft a 2nd WR. That said….if he doesn’t add another, I’ll be disappointed and chalk it up as a missed opportunity
  3. To show what kind of an athlete this guy is https://youtu.be/Ix8Otv8Dito?si=Fd2KO4LkpzO7oTZL
  4. Just as reaching for complaints is yours.
  5. I like the player. We have our backup 3T under contract for the next 4 season. Solid backup. that said- I’d have rather have taken some higher upside players that have a chance to be very good starters. That said, if he can improve and become a solid pass rushing threat for 4 years, it’ll be a solid pick
  6. For sure. Diggs inability to help win games in the playoffs was his biggest detriment imo. Even more so than his off field stuff (I know most would disagree). He disappeared when needed most. Hopefully Coleman and Josh can develop a connection with the jump balls. One on one deep down the field on scramble drills should be his bread and butter. Coleman should be able to position himself and outmuscle and physically outmatch corners in single coverage. This is an exciting prospect. Having him and Kincaid out there should give us lots of options with cook, Samuel and Shak. I think our playmakers are better than most think
  7. Pretty much this. Will he make big plays to help us win playoff games. Will he be clutch? Or will he get stuck on the line and drop passes? Crucial pieces to the puzzle
  8. I would think edwards would be a better fit but 🤷🏻‍♂️
  9. Watched every Ute game this year. He’s a beast. Definite McD type. Insane tackler with great pop. Solid in man coverage. I’ll love watching him smack and make plays in the backfield. I just don’t think hes a good fit playing opposite Rapp. short arms too
  10. I can’t believe we drafted Alistair Overeems son! or did we actually draft Alistair Overeem???
  11. That goes both ways…. how many had Keon rated higher than BTj, The other guy in you mentioned?
  12. Top bolded- I don’t believe that at all. WR1 needs to be able to get off press. Coleman has major issues and that may never change Bottom- and then there are people who know football, that think he’s a 3rd rd prospect and out of the top 10 WRs in the draft.
  13. At least my boy @Solomon Grundy is loving life right now!!!
  14. Like the physical being and the character. Love the jump ball talent. Like the rac ability. HATE that we didn’t trade back with the chargers and take him there. HATE that we took him over 4 other WRs I’ll love him. I’m just not happy rn
  15. Luckily, there’s only one sub 4.3 WR season in the history of the NFL
  16. One of them would obviously move to LG…
  17. That’s great!! We’ll get the goal line RB we’ve been waiting for!!! And we’d only have to pay him 50M over 2 years!!?
  18. Dejean then trade up for Mitchell, Polk, McConkey or Franklin. Newton then trade up for Mitchell, Polk, McConkey or Franklin. keep trading back and take Mitchell, Polk, McConkey or Franklin then trade up for jenkins or Fiske
  19. I hear ya. Hard to see the plan when we haven’t made any selections, but it looks like they identified this WR class as deep……. Or they don’t think they need a WR1
