  1. No one denied that he was a great back. Walker looks even better. The argument for not taking him starts with positional value. One of the reasons RB has a lower positional value is injury risk to pair with rarely getting what you pay for in a 2nd contract / shorter careers. But you knew this. You just love the Rb position and enjoy watching stud RBs run. Me too. Watching a great rb is like watching a great artist at work. Magical. But winning a SB and building a great team for sustained success is easier done not drafting a RB in rd 1.
  2. Another reason why it’s bad to draft a RB in rd 1. More susceptible to injury when compared to other positions. @Solomon Grundy @IronMaidenBills you guys ok? Walker > Hall
  3. Eh- they’re better than 9-7 when healthy imo. Missing Armstead is huge- he’s been a force in recent years- especially since they moved him inside. He’s a difference maker. They’ve missed more games to injury than anyone. I don’t think they’d beat us- but if they can get somewhat healthy, I think they can win the nfc- Philly might be better, but I think they match up well with Philly.
  4. Meanwhile- the niners OL still sucks
  5. Maybe a family member is a die hard Mike evans fan? Sheesh
  6. That has nothing to do with my comment or the comment I was responding to.
  7. Ok…… You wouldn’t trade Hodgins for Jeudy? That’s what the guy suggested…. You think that’s a bad idea?
  8. Tom when he wakes up
  9. It’s not about being wrong…..you just don’t get it. As expected
  10. Oh whoa is us. Only if Brandon Beane would’ve done like I had wanted him to we’d be the best team in the league…..
  11. Oh yeah- definitely falls in line
  12. The Astros are like the 2000-2019 regular season patriots to the Yankees regular season Bills. Complete ownage. Yet another debacle
  13. He’s been amazing. The perfect DC tbh- no one wants to hire him as a HC which really helps with our continuity. I have lots of love for Leslie.
  14. I trust Beane to get it right. He’ll make his mistakes….just like every GM in every sports history. He’ll also continue to make sure that we have a pass rush. Other than the impact of QB, pass rush is next in line with regards to championships in todays day and age. I don’t think there will ever be a year in which we don’t win the super bowl because we didn’t trade for a RB.
  15. Dane is a RFA.
  16. Maybe Spotrac can create it for us by typing up nonsense and hoping it’ll stick. It works on some, maybe the nfl won’t notice it. We can just show them a link….boom…. 50M in rollover cap room.
  17. How did he do with those scrubs? He won a 2 Super Bowls- back to back- 6th round running back that no one wanted- turned HoFer…..thanks to the shanahan offense.
  18. Ok, now this makes a lot more sense- thanks for posting my man! Can we get another overview? Doesn’t seem like the data adds up Not oddly enough- he’s wrong. Big shock
  19. I see different numbers posted on different websites. And I don’t see where the 50M comes from, meanwhile, only one site shows that rollover. I’m not saying they don’t have a 50M rollover- But the specifics of the 50M are not clear Regarding the trade itself- read deeper- niners have invested 7 draft picks on the rb position since April 2021- 2 2nd round picks, 2 3rds, 1 4th, 5th and 1 6th- that is a similar investment in the rb position. I didn’t say it was the same exact thing- i realize how good he is can be. I also realize how easily injured he is. In 20 and 21 he had 5 lower body injuries (2 ankle injuries). Imo, its a great trade if the only thing that matters is putting the team in position to win a super bowl this year year and maybe next- as long as he’s healthy. 🎲 🎲 If they win a super bowl with him, they hit the jackpot, great trade, If they don’t win one- it’s a fail.
  20. 🎯
  21. I don’t see how that adds up to 50M in rollover when they were against the cap when the season began- opening up some money from Jimmy, but not that much. I don’t see how Deebos extension can free up that much when the original 4th year of his rookie deal was under 2M. Who said they were a dumb team that doesn’t know how to build? I said it a strange strategy to spend so many assets on the RB position. And I’m right. It is a strange strategy. This RB investment is up there with the saints trading for Ricky Williams and the Vikings trading for Herschel Walker. And neither were coming off 2 season ending injuries.
  22. I won’t pretend to know and I don’t really care either way. I don’t worry about NFC teams- they aren’t our primary competition. did they really roll over 50M from this year? How the hell did they do that? They aren’t paying a qb big bucks but they’re paying a bunch of other guys big bucks. I’m really confused. Can anyone shed some light on the details?
  23. Thanks- I hadn’t seen that. I guess it makes more sense- 50 million rollover…..wtf, how does that even happen? that will allow them to sign 3-5 of their 10 free agent starters.
  24. Aaron Rodgers sat the bench for 4 years. Who else did? His daddy had RB success and Super Bowls with 6th rd picks and undrafted FA’s. Yet Kyle seems to think he needs to use several high picks and spend way over the league average in order to achieve what his dad did with nothing. His dad is one of the men that trivialized the position.
  25. They have 51M in cap space before they do anything? Link?
