  1. He wasn’t beating out Tre…. lol. He got injured day 6 of training camp. The battle had barely begun and the vet was given the early nod due to knowing the system.
  2. It really sucks that Samuel is always hurt, but considering the dead cap and the fact that he’s made big plays in huge games for us, I’d be pissed if we cut him. He can make plays in big moments. If we keep 5, I think trade Moore or shavers.
  3. This guy 🤣 @MWK
  4. Were you the one that called him a loser? that was epic
  5. Yes, he has to make the team (or fetch a draft pick). End thread
  6. Which ravens starting corner might miss week 1?
  7. The question now is- how many snaps a game does Tyrell Shavers get?
  8. They’re shopping Mike White and they know that no one will ever trade for him if he plays another snap
  9. I know you want more. I do too. We deserve more (even though we’ve never played a down for the team- although I may feel like I have following several games). In the context of this conversation, I just can’t get behind the bengals accomplishing more than we have over the last 5 years- especially as a fan. Imagine not even making the playoffs 3 of 5 years?? Props to them for beating Reid and Mahomes in the playoffs. Props to Sam Hubbard for coming through recording back to back sacks on Mahomes on 2nd and goals from the 4. Grats on Von Bell for intercepting Mahomes in overtime. Neither are elite players. They just made plays when the team needed them most. It’s not all on McD for not “being able to beat” Reid and Beane not giving Josh a WR1 (which Beane did give him for 3.5 seasons). Reid and Spags are an all time great duo as play callers- paired with Mahomes, Kelce, Jones (and tyreek for a few), not many can match them. We could’ve won 3 of those playoff games if some players made a play. We’ve had opportunities and failed. It’s on the players just as it is on McD and Beane. I’m with you though, I want more. I want what KC has. Hell, I want what the Bears have. A Lombardi under their belt. Back to where this conversation started- I don’t want what the Bengals have.
  10. It’s not your day unless your name is Garnett Hollis Jr!!!
  11. Cmon man- You haven’t had fun watching the last 5 seasons? Being a fan IS more than just winning a Super Bowl. It may be the only thing your fixated on, but as fans, there’s so much more to it. Watching the games and experiencing the high and lows of each and every week is a blast. Allen is 76-34 as a starter. Joe Burrow is 38-30. The difference in wins between the two is equal to Burrows career win total….and Josh only has 4 more losses. The bengals haven’t won a SB yet either. Making the Super Bowl (and losing) one season while missing the playoffs entirely 3 of 5 seasons is nothing to brag about. Do you think the Bengals fans had wicked fun the 3 years they didn’t even make the playoffs? Great….they made the SB…. And lost. That’s what I call wicked fun. Ending the season with the same exact feeling as us. Close, but no cigar.
  12. I love this for the Bengals
  13. Zy Alexander for cb2? Cmon man. Mcd is a smart man if he starts Dane over him. Dane is very likely a much better cornerback for this defense right now…. but who knows.
  14. They have too many WR3-4 types. Polks shoulder is the likely scapegoat to keep them from cutting him
  15. Sure. It easy to say that when you’re not the one that has to deal with making him the highest paid non QB in nfl history. I’d love to have him. I don’t think it’s conceivable.
  16. Oh. My bad. I didn’t know Diggs was traded for 2 first round picks. You learn something new every day
  17. Why do you hate being wrong here? It’s not like the Bills were going to trade for him. It would’ve been another AFC contender and we’d have to deal with him in the playoffs. This way- parsons is irrelevant for the next 3 years. Sounds good to me
  18. I don’t think the eagles, chiefs or ravens would either. Do you?
  19. And we are coming back with the fact the price was too high and the cap hit was too big…. Due to those aspects, the part you are coming back to is basically irrelevant. Making this a non issue imo. apologies if that comes across harsh- wasn’t sure how to phrase it. You’re one of my favorite posters, no offense meant. Most contending teams paying their QB big bucks usually are
  20. This.
  21. Erase that poast please!!!
  22. Josh Allen would prevent that from happening….but once he retires or demands a trade it could get ugly based on what we’ve seen from Terry as the Sabres owner
