  1. Dam you @wppete good- I don’t want him falling to the jets anyways. with the 13th pick, the NY Jets select Jaxon Smith-Njigba WR, Ohio St. We don’t plan on repeating what the Packers did for AR. We’re gonna give him weapons- Reuniting Garrett Wilson with the guy he says is better than him. Wilson and Lazard on the outside with JSN in the slot. We feel Lazard is a below average #2 option. Adding JSN makes Lazard a very good #3 and Hardman a great #4. Mims as the 5th. We strongly considered Broderick Jones and Darnell Wright after losing out on Skoronski, but feel that JSN is as can’t miss as they come. We love our playmakers. Considered Kincaid as well, but we’re happy with Uzomah, Conklin and Ruckert. @inaugural balls is on the clock
  2. Jets still looking to trade down, but will be making a pick once on the clock if no offers.
  3. That works too. I think whoever trades up (if the picks are even up for trade) is gonna pay a fortune. I like Hooker more than most. I’m betting on the person.
  4. Trade down and draft Hooker- Mac will never be the guy
  5. The jets are looking to trade down from 13 if there’s any interest
  6. That’s who I would’ve taken with the rams pick too. Get the LT in place for Caleb.
  7. Breaking News: Adam Schefter reports: David Stern has risen from the dead and vetoed the previously announced Cooper Kupp to Chicago trade. Stern wasn’t done there. He vetoed another Rams trade, this one involving Aaron Donald to a Super Bowl contender that we won’t name. more news on this later. Or not.
  8. I think teams might consider trading up for Hooker so they can snag that 5th year option
  9. I’ll give you stafford for a 3rd. 😜
  10. Yes…. We were basically forced to trade. We just wanted to settle on something that both teams would be ok with. It’s a pretend exercise. No reason to waste real life hours going back and forth on a trade that has to happen. Who else would be interested in AR? No one interested, less demand, lower price. A 2nd and a WR is a decent price. I offered #13 overall but while getting back the packers 3rd rd pick but was declined. You traded a player that plays a vital role in the SF SB hopes. So you can run the wishbone
  11. Yeah. And zero downfield WR threats. When’s the last time a wishbone team won a SB? You have a team that was a THREE QB injuries away from a SB appearance and scrap it for the wishbone….. questionable. Aiyuk was instrumental in that offense. He kept the defenses honest. I get the fit- gave up too much imo
  12. I think you killed that trade. If I were the saints, I’d have traded everyone of value and taken your dead cap lumps this year while tanking for Caleb or Drake. I think the only way they give up more is if there’s another team seriously interested. dunno if that’s the case.
  13. The jets have traded #43 overall and WR Corey Davis to the Packers for Aaron Rodgers.
  14. I hear ya. Good points. I don’t think he’s a 1 just yet, but I think he could be. He’s really explosive, just doesn’t get the looks in that offense.
  15. Aiyuk could likely fetch a borderline 1st rd pick. 2nd round for sure. I just don’t see Taysom hill as worth a 2nd and a 3rd rd pick. Which is in essence what this would be. Trading their 3rd and not getting a 2nd for Aiyuk. That’s paying a premium for a niche player. But he’s he’s the only guy in the league that can really do what he does at that level.
  16. You traded Aiyuk and a 3rd for……. Taysom? I like the chess piece and I get it…..but, without Aiyuk, every team would just play 11 men in the box. Aiyuk is the only legit route running WR. Without him, there’s no deep threat. You’re paying 4 playmakers (mccaffery, deebo, Kittle and Hill) that make their money within 5-10 yards of the LOS. i think Hill to the niners is a great move….but not at the expense of Aiyuk. I don’t think it would work.
  17. Word. I sent an offer this morning. Awaiting a reply.
  18. I can take another too if needed. I have the jets, so I’ll be trading the entire draft to the packers for Rodgers. Because f the jets.
  19. If we don’t draft a tackle in the first 3 rounds I’m going to lose it. There will some solid prospects. Dawkins contract has 2 years left and his play vs the bengals was atrocious. They say that Josh needs to run less, slide more and not play as reckless. Well…. They can certainly thank Spencer Brown for Josh running more and putting his body at risk. This will be 3 years in a row we’re trusting a bum (and other bums) to protect our franchise QB. We have Josh Allen- protect him and extend his career rather than shortening it. If Brown works out as Beane would hope, we can move one to LT or trade one. Everyone wants good OTs. If Brown is the guy we’ve seen in his 1st 2 years, we’ll still have a chance to win the Super Bowl with a rookie RT
  20. Lions, eagles, jets, seattle, Texans,
  21. Great post. Landing one of these guys is extremely important imo. We don’t want to rush von back and making the playoffs without him is no sure thing. Unless AJ or boogie makes huge strides this offseason Rousseau needs help. Big time. Worst case scenario should be Shaq and a rookie but I’d prefer everyone on your list list @HappyDays
  22. yup. The dynamics of their team will be changing over the next couple years. Gotta hit on their draft picks or they’ll be in a difficult position. Cinci’s best chance will be this year, but the door will be open as long as they have Burrow imo. Similar to us with 17 under center. They opportunity to catch lightning in a bottle will always be there- just have to hope that luck is in their side.
  23. Elite weapons and QB all on Rookie contracts. Big difference
  24. Agreed. The depth of mlb in this class is the only reason I’d consider Campbell over wright. I just don’t think that’s the right way to draft unless we were to trade down. Like we did with cook last year. If we want a LB with our first pick, make the most of it and trade down even if we only get a 4th rd pick- I just feel like he’s a huge reach @ 27.
  25. I can’t believe the results sit at 63 to 48 in favor of Wright. those voting for Campbell, you should be ashamed of yourselves.
