I agree, he has a chance….. but let’s be real, Spencer Brown hasn’t been a bum to date? Doesn’t compute. After watching him the last 2 years, I don’t see any reason why we would risk Josh’s health by running it back with 2 guys that got him killed last year. does anyone else think Brown has been better than below average?

I really like Bergeron. He’s a better run blocker. Anton just makes so much sense because he can play LT and specializes in pass protection. He’s been a bum his entire career. Until he’s not, he’s a bum.

I wouldn’t hate Bresee. I’ve been following him since he was the consensus #1 player in HS. Love his power and movement. Mazi…. His lack of production scares me. I just prefer to start building a wall around Josh….rather than trying to get by with this 2 foot aluminum fence I’d also prefer Downs on the list over Hyatt. Hopkins, Diggs, Davis outside….. still a glaring hole in the slot unless Harty/shakir can fill it properly. Properly = not like Mckenzie/crowder/shakir last season. Josh didn’t trust them and it showed.

I hear ya. I’m higher on both harrison and Bergeron that you….. and the lowest in Spencer Brown. If he didn’t drink a beer on the field during the game, the fan base would’ve had already dumped him imo. He’s been nothing but terrible.

His nfl comp is a good starting LT that was given a 2nd contract by the team that drafted him. That’s exactly what you want out of your first pick. Dawkins was a great pick. I’d prefer drafting a LT…. And you should too, it’s better value. I feel Dawkins and Harrison would both be better RTs than Drew Bledsoe concrete feet Spencer brown. Bledsoe should be Browns comp. 59 or 91. Bresee and Mazi both have votes. So no, you’re not the only one worried

I agree with most everything that you say…. But I don’t know how anyone could definitively say that they aren’t better….especially in pass protection. They may be better. They may be worse. That’s not something you know right now. one thing we know for sure. Brown has been terrible+

Than the rape god and Benford. 3 (what should have been) solid picks in a row on day 3.

I couldn’t care less about his run blocking. You shouldn’t either. there were more than “some” ugly moments. We can see how much his back injury had to do with that and cover our a**** at the same time. Everyone needs tackles. If he turns out to be good and we draft another good tackle, I’d call that a great problem to have I’m not. Sadly
