I thought the D played pretty good minus the one run and couple Wilson catches (not the TD, that was good D, special catch). Leonard Floyd and Rousseau stood out on the DL, while I thought Ed played a very solid games. Watching Milano was a treat. I’m extremely worried about the S duo though. Once the heart and soul of the team, they might now be a detriment. 🙏🏻 that’s not the case

Ok ok. Here’s the deal. Halftime of the packer game is exactly when Josh’s QB play took a drastic turn for the worse. Here’s why: I was sitting at Moondoggies with my normal crew plus my other buddy, who’s not a Bills fan. I remember the conversation clearly. My buddy turns and says to me “this is your year bro! Josh is the best QB in the league!!”. I had a nice euphoric buzz going on from his dazzling first half play and replied “If he keeps playing like this, he’ll be the best QB ever. No QB has ever played THIS good. No QB in history can do what he does on the field. He’s pretty much unstoppable”. He laughed at me and nodded his head in agreement……then Josh then became current Josh. After we lost to the bengals in the playoffs, he says to me “you know you ruined his career during halftime of the packer game right?” mmmmhmmmm. I remember too well. sorry all 😢

If I were a random GM and not a Bills fan in 2023, I’d probably take Lawrence. I’d have to take into consideration their age (23 to Allen’s 27), cumulative damage taken and current level of play. Definitely wouldn’t have said that a year ago. I’ve always thought the world of Lawrence. He was the best freshman QB I’ve ever seen.

Cool story. Thanks. Wth is everyone so nit-picky about everything? I said he looked pretty good and I said he looked good. Two pretty basic compliments. I didn’t say even say he looked great. He looked good and pretty good. Maybe I should said he looked deceptively good. Ie: he wasn’t pretty good, until you really look at the film and see that he did everything pretty good. He doesn’t have to accumulate lots of stats to look good doing what he does. He had a 2 nice blocks, 4 catches and some rac. Showed physicality. Ran good routes and got separation. The QB threw in a different direction. One of the reasons that we lost is because we didn’t look his way enough. You’re looking at the box score bruh. And I look foolish. 🤣 we’re talking about how he looked. You act as if he only existed on 4 pass plays.

He also had just 4 targets last week. Same as Cook. One more target than Harty. Did I miss Dorsey getting Kincaid involved in the second half of the game? 3 targets at halftime up 10. 1 target after the half, when we needed him. it’s not all on Dorsey. It’s on Josh too. It just didn’t seem like Dorsey made him the clear #2 option that he should be. It’ll come. If it doesn’t Dorsey will likely be looking for a new job next offseason

My point all along- current Josh and ‘20 ‘21 Josh are not the same. Yet that was disputed. That could change….and hopefully will, but that’s not the point in all of this. Something isn’t right and his elbow is fine. The underlying point in this is that we need an OC that can best help him get back to 2020 Josh or better. That may be Dorsey. I liked the game plan on Monday but there were a handful of situational play calls that had me feeling a certain type of way. He has the season to turn Josh back around. It’s a tough situation to have your career in the hands of someone else, but that’s really the case here Imo. He needs to find a way to right the Josh allen ship @Beck WaterI apologize if I offended you. I tend to be blunt and to the point when things are blatantly obvious to me and my eyes.
