Big shock

👍🏻 I was kidding about Hyde…. But it seems like Harty and Shakir are the only real options atm. espn depth chart currently says Shakir on punts and Cook on kicks.

He has 1 less fumble than Mckenzie with several less touches. Fumbles lost and fumbles not lost- no matter. In terms of a games outcome- there’s a difference. In terms of ball security- they are the same. A 50% chance that we lose the possession. I’m on record as being one of his biggest fans- loved the signing. I just don’t know if I want him being our return guy. He’s beyond electric and could be an all pro return man again. He just worries me
-
Agreed
-
Massive loss for the return game imo. Harty is a dynamic return guy too, but he’s been a fumble machine and I’m not sure we want him back there returning. Who are the other options? Time to bust out Micha Hyde 😔

You didn’t even make the top 20 bro!

Right…… which bottom 10 team is going to trade 2 first round picks for a 29 year old DT about to get paid 25M aav? sorry, I was thinking about things that were possible. -
He’s a Miami fan

Trading him would be a monumental mistake imo. They wouldn’t have beaten the Bengals without him this year. He’s a force of nature and potentially their 2nd most important player -
Wisconsin blog speculating about AJ Dillon and the Bills
NewEra replied to machine gun kelly's topic in The Stadium Wall
No, because I expect their evaluators to actually WATCH football. he averted 5.7 ypc last year. He has the same rating as nyheim Hines….. who was one of the worst RBs in the league last season. Damien Harris did nothing last season. latavious Murray hasn’t done anything in years. just because you don’t think James cook isn’t very good doesn’t mean he isn’t. Watch his tape last year. Watch his tape in college. He’s good. He has the same rating as a RB who is not good (Hines) boogie Basham has a higher ranking that AJ and Shaq…,, meanwhile he couldn’t get on the field because those guys are CLEARLY better. Any comment on Basham vs epenesa and Shaq? How about daquan being 1 pt better than boogie? Rating alike this shouldn’t exist if they knew 1/4 of what they should know. -
Right…… so they felt letting him go because the price tag didn’t meet the impact was the right move. They turned around and gave that money to Ed Oliver- a DT (who I love) with minimal production to show for the money he’s being paid. The money was there to pay edmunds….. they just didn’t think he was worth it. twist it however you like it- the bills felt about edmunds the same way the majority of the board did. Good player. Not worthy of being paid like he was going to get paid. We’ll miss him this season, I have no doubt. Going forward, they made the right move. I have very little doubt about that. He’s not worth it.

He played at an elite level last season. I think Josh would’ve been MVP and won the Super Bowl if he played with that roster. But that’s not the reality. Mahomes played several seasons with Tyreek hill and Travis Kelce while having Andy Reid call his plays. He benefitted greatly from from that trio. He’s now minus Tyreek who was traded out for a great very good OL. He’s still the best QB in the league. There’s no dispute. Regardless of who’s calling plays and his supporting cast. Hurts was spectacular and I think that spectacular play will continue for another 5-10 years. He’s a good kid, an extremely hard worker and a hell of an athlete.

I think cook will be 80-82 next season. He’s good. Maybe not elite- but he’s much better than 75 imo -
They do- by a WIDE margin. You’re just here, typing the same two things over and over and over and over and over

Melvin gordon signs with the ravens- not worthy of its own thread. Fumble the season away Melvin! Your friend is an idiot -
Latavious Murray 76 Daquan Jones 76 madden is terrible.

In other news- Madden 24 RB Rating- Damian Harris- 79 Latavious Murray- 76 Nyhiem Hines- 75 James Cook- 75 Cook has the same rating a Bummie Basham- who is rated higher than AJ Epenesa and Shaq Lawson. Damian Harris is rated higher than Leonard Floyd. It’s one of the reasons that I rent madden from GameFly for 2 weeks each year, then return it and never play again. I’ll never buy another copy. Come back 2k! -
For those still upset we didn’t trade up for Jordan Addison…

It was a terrible decision. But one egregious speeding infraction isn’t enough for me to doubt him. If he does it again (or makes another terrible decision), I’d be worried. -
PFF Top 50 Players for 2023 - Josh Allen at 12, Diggs at 24
NewEra replied to Lost's topic in The Stadium Wall
I think he had a wonky run last year partly because he had no confidence going over the middle to anyone except Diggs. Also partly due of his injury. Speculation on my part. He made some head scratching throws- don’t get me wrong. He has his faults. allen only had 3 more ints than Burrow. His many fumbles were partly on him- but also because he has to play Superman more often than not because he doesn’t have the OL, Playmakers or offensive coaching the others have
