I’m confidant we’ll have a plan too. And I think it’ll be a good plan. The question is, once Reid and Spags see our plan and adjust…..how will we counter? We had a great plan vs Philly in the first half. They adjusted. We got rolled. How will the D perform (and McD call plays) in the 4th qtr with the game on the line? This is where McD can earn his alleged “💯 safe” pass this offseason. He needs to show that he can still go head to head with the elite coaches and win. He was able to beata one good head coach from the 1st-4th qtr this year, mcdaniel. That’s the only great performance by McD and his staff this year imo

I blame Dorsey for not scoring over 25 for 6 straight weeks- and us scoring 32+ in both games since his departure.

And the drops. And the penalties. And running the wrong routes. there has been a lot of issues throughout this season. LOTS. I’m not disagreeing with the premise of your post. McD has been a big problem, especially at the end of games (zero blitz anyone?) but there has been several issues in offense this year too. Which should also come down on the HC. Even more reason he should be replaced. oh well. Hopefully he can prove us wrong next year

What’s more confusing is that we’re interested in a TE after throwing ONE combined pass to the TE’s in the 2nd half of the last two games. Zero vs Philly….who has had major struggles vs TEs this year. sigh

Was thinking that watching as Zaccheaus made the catch of his life. A couple weeks after Sutton did the same. A few weeks Zay jones did the same. Several weeks after Garrett Wilson did the same. 4 TD catches in 4 different games decided by less than a TD. and none of our pass catchers, except Diggs, have highlight TD catches. Crazy.

We can be good enough. Will we be? Probably not….. but maybe 😉 I have hope that the euphoria after the Miami game turns out to be a bigger rush than Dalton to Boyd. On a much grander scale, as it would mean we probably have the best team in the league and legit SB contenders….. as opposed to just being happy to break the drought.

We need DTs too. Possibly 3 of them as Ed is the only one under contract. He played almost the entire game on Sunday. There were time where he was just taking up space because he was so tired. Center is also a possibility if Morse steps away. WR #1 priority- I agree. Pass rush #2A as floyd, AJ and Shaq are FA’s. Will likely need to sign/draft 2, maybe 3 DE’s. DT #2B- daquan, settle and JP all FA.

I feel that he’ll be retained if he makes the playoffs. I don’t agree with that decision, but I do feel Terry will keep him. He might even keep him if we miss the playoffs. Personal feeling is that he SHOULD be fired unless we win at least 2 playoff games if we can hire Ben Johnson.

We’ll find out at the end of the season if we don’t make the playoffs.

Thanks for ruining our season with this thread. 2 of the last 3 games have resulted in the Billsyest losses of the season. The only game we’ve won since is vs the zach wilson

This team has is all. And then it doesn’t. It’s such a roller coaster of inconsistency and KILLING themselves with colossal mental gaffes. Committing penalties, drops, running the wrong routes, coaching blunders, missed kicks and injuries. We just can’t get out of our own way. On top of that, terrible officiating. There’s some sort of peculiar cosmic force causing this madness. I think we have about a 30% chance to make the playoffs. Unlikely, but I do think there’s a chance that we can run the table or maybe just one loss. Almost all the teams we’re competing against for the playoffs have backup QBs. And that’s why McD should be fired if we don’t make the playoffs. If James cook catches the TD. If gabe and Josh were on the same page. If we threw the ball to Dalton Kincaid in the second half. If Tyler bass didn’t choke. If we don’t have 12 men on the field. if the refs didn’t suck. If we didn’t…..we can go on and on. Each of our losses would’ve been wins if the fortunes of 1 or 2 plays would’ve been different. Sucks for Mcdermott. He’s a good coach. If we miss the playoffs I don’t think Pegs and Beane will fire him, but they should. While it doesn’t seem to be our year…..we can beat anybody on any given Sunday. I still have hope that this could be an epic season.
