  1. If Tyreek ran a 4.4 would he still be a 30M man? I do get your point, but the speed is why he is who he is. BTj AND Chark? I think you’re dreaming. I don’t see any chance of Shakir starting the season as WR4. He’ll be a top 3 guy for sure. We need one outside WR. We have another in backup Hollins and 2 others (samuel and Shakir) that can play outside on occasion.
  2. With the 13th pick, the Las Vegas Raiders select Michael Penix, QB, Washington. draft the best QB available until you have your QB. Minshew is a perfect bridge and could be valuable trade bait once QBs start going down. Would’ve liked to trade back a few and snag him but for the sake of everyone’s time, I’ll make the pick now. @qwksilver is on the clock
  3. It sure is! If you want to draft a crappy QB This obviously all comes down to the GMs evaluations of the QBs. I just think they’ll seriously regret passing on Maye. @mragsno offense. We just have different views of this QB class and Drake Maye in particular.
  4. All depends how the draft falls- I’m inclined to say trade up into the 20’s because he’s done just that the last 2 seasons. I’d be happy with any of the outcomes as long as we don’t take this years version of Kaiir Elam again. Hated that pick. Loved all the other 1st rd picks other than wrong Josh! Ed and Kincaid were the players I wanted most in rd 1 going into their respective drafts. This year….i don’t think I really have a favorite. Lots a players I like. Some WRs, some not. Polkin rd 2 is my only dream this year. So Latu and Polk with our first 2 picks would be dreamy
  5. Agreed. They can try and fleece him, but the draft class allows him to say effya. I’m pro trade up for top 3, but have zero expectations. I’m pro trade up for Thomas if he hits 22-23. I’m pro take BPA @28. I’m pro trade back as long as don’t go too far back. We have lots of good options imo.
  6. That would be one helluva draft
  7. Yeah, you were one of the first around here! i was not initially, but after the Diggs trade, he’s one of a handful of guys I’d be happy with at 28. Legette Mitchell Mcconkey Worthy (don’t love him, but the elite speed could be worth rolling the dice on if he’s available). Polk- that’s my dude and he’s the best run blocker in the class. Franklin in a trade back. Pearsall in a bigger trade back Coleman in a…..ugh. Idk about Coleman, but he’s intriguing
  8. The raiders are entertaining trade offers and hoping to trade down
  9. It’s a pipe dream imo…..but that would be incredible. I don’t see us being that fortunate
  10. but getting Van Pran that late would be. I’ve- 😂
  11. @LEBills @GASabresIUFan my point solely has to do with drafting players that they have additional insight on from trusted coaches. McD did it with Zay Jones too. It’s has nothing to do with being from particular schools. Rather knowing (or employing coaches) that have experience with the player. There’s obviously more to it than that- but when the situation arises it could come into play.
  12. I think you’re missing the point here. It’s not that Beane/McD care about the school they play for. They care about the insight they are getting from their college coaches. College coaches that can vouch for players fitting the criteria he and the scouts set for the pick. They don’t have to go off a couple interviews and what they hope to be true. They can go off what these coaches already know to be true.
  13. I don’t care enough to look into it 😉 I don’t see him being an option this offseason, but who knows 🤷🏻‍♂️
  14. Anything is possible, but his cap hit is 24M this year. If they trade him, it’s 36M
  15. Different strokes for different folks. I usually just listen to it as I do other things
  16. Yeah there’s lots of garbage everywhere, no doubt. That’s why you pick what you like. Can’t stand Smith on tv but his WR breakdowns offer some insight. He knows more about the position than most. He understands pacing and the nuances of running routes that most YTers don’t understand. You’re right, I don’t think he watches a ton of tape- probably just highlights. Simms, meh. He says it how he sees it, which is a usually much different than most. I think he watches some tape. I really enjoy the Bootleg guys. They grind tons of tape. Good and bad. Brugler is my favorite- there’s a lot more Brugler content on YT this year.
  17. I used to watch espn too….when it wasn’t terrible. Now I skim YouTube and watch what I choose to watch as opposed to what one channel is force feeding me. There are plenty of YT channels worth watching with regards to the draft/prospect information. This time of year I usually dive deeper into the later round prospects
