  1. Yeah- the team that wanted him as a slot used him as a slot. That’s has nothing to do with him prior to joining the jags- where he played predominantly outside and played very well. You’re acting like he’s not able or hasn’t been good playing outside. He’s able and he’s been good. He has the ability…. It doesn’t matter that Jacksonville didn’t use him there. he had 590 in 12 games with Palmer, gabbert and Stanton. 709 in 13 games with Rosen, Bradford and glennon and 621 in 14 games (opposite Hopkins getting 160 targets) with Murray. he was good outside with bums throwing him the ball. He’s never NOT been able to play outside. The jags thought he was best in the slot (and I agree that’s true), but he can still run the route tree and is good deep @BillsFanForever19Not sure how you could disagree with this. This is true- it’s not something disagreeable. In his career- he’s played 43% of his snaps outside. https://www.pennlive.com/steelers/2025/03/pittsburgh-steelers-players-recruiting-just-released-jaguars-wide-receiver-youre-a-steeler.html?outputType=amp
  2. After playing the majority of his snaps in the slot for the jags, Kirk has played 43% of his snaps outside.
  3. He’s not slot only. He’s proven that. He barely played any slot his first 3 years. He doesn’t have the prototypical physical traits of an outside guy, but he’s certainly capable. He’s a vertical threat that can be used all over the field. His talents may be maximized playing in the slot….but he can get the job done. he’s not my first choice….but he’d be a nice backup option if we can’t get DK or another true WR1.
  4. Allen is a lot with no speed. Far from a target imo. Slayton. Definitely
  5. Unless he shows out and we win a Super Bowl with him playing a big part of it.
  6. I think he’ll hold out some of this year and a longer one next year if we plan on him keeping him under the tag for 26. Just plan on using him for the next two years then letting him go. Probably the smartest decision for the team. But It’ll be the first time beanes played hard ball with a draft pick that has played very well.
  7. Yeah I know. Just more alluding to Beane not really screwing anyone over using the tag before. i agree, I don’t think a deal gets done and he holds outs. But will he then use the tag and hold him hostage another year?
  8. That hurts. Was really hoping to land Cook for 11-12M but that’s not gonna happen. I’d like to see how that’s going to impact cooks franchise tag. Eager to see if Beane plays the franchise tag game for the first time. Definitely not his style but if there were ever a time to do it.
  9. If golden is there and certain DL are gone, I could see him being the pick. Then going DL. but we won’t be using this pick. Cleveland will. 🙏🏻
  10. Great thread bro!!! not
  11. Not because of their RBs. It’s their OL and Ryan Grubbs inability to grasp the nfl. IMO anyway. Their RBs would’ve had much better ypc and productions running behind our OL and in our offense
  12. Hawk eye does very little and that’s why it’s being instituted. The chip is what is needed to remove some control from their hands. Two refs give two different spots- whose spot counts? Whichever spot they want
  13. Over drafted Rousseau. lol. Good grief
  14. A quintessential chain mover. Maximizes every opportunity.
  15. he’d look even better next to Garrett and DJ reader! I can see us trading for DL and signing one as a FA- but considering this draft class- I expect one stud via FA/trade and one draft pick followed up with some Smoot/JP like deals for vets
  16. I couldn’t be happier about this. I thought he’d be creeping into Christian Kirk territory. Figured 20M+ steep for a slot. 15M is favorable. Well done Beane. Thanks Khalil.
  17. 2 years in a row. Allen is the furthest thing from being the problem. The defensive performances (game plan and play) are the biggest reasons we’ve lost (without a doubt), but the games were still there to be won. Lots of things contribute to losses. overall, Josh’s playoff success (in terms of statistics) is incredible. He’s been superb. The last two years, when the game mattered most- he couldn’t get it done. Diggs’ drop and the decision to throw deep to Shakir rather than dump it short to diggs. The drive didn’t end in a TD. Then this season, the offensive playcalling/execution plus Kincaids drop. 0 points. It’s not all on the QB….. but the ball was in his hands and we came up with 0 points on both drives. And to repeat- Allen is the furthest thing from being the problem. But we know how this place works.
  18. Always broken Bosa. Pass
  19. 💯 I asked because both Garrett and Metcalf will both cost high draft picks and demand huge extensions. I don’t see both of them happening, but you never know.
  20. He’s not really an outside guy though. He’s played some, but his best football has been played in the slot. Would you rather have Myles Garrett or Metcalf? That might be the trade off Add Darius Slayton to the list imo. he’s a burner and has some size. Sadly, I think he’s going to get paid somewhere around 15-18m aav but doesn’t have the production to back that. He’s a great fit though. Hollywood Brown could be nice- if he can stay healthy You want to sign Hollywood AND Amari? Can’t see anyway that happens
  21. Those are my 3 as well. 👊🏻 Grant would be, but I don’t think he’ll be there for us. Nolan though…. ❤️ I prefer not to go corner rd 1, but if we do, revel might be the best fit. The injuries are scary though i think golden would be our only WR option (based on skill set we need) at 30, but he’ll probably be gone too. That said, I rather we trade 30 in a deal for Garrett, Crosby or Hendrickson. I don’t think Parsons is a culture fit
  22. I hear ya. I just don’t think he has to seek it out. It will seek him once he’s a champion.
