  1. Good call with Lane- forgot about him
  2. I think the % of 3 LB sets are a result of McDs overall approach of becoming much more multiple on both offense and defense. He’s trying to adapt. We ran predominantly 11 personnel in 2020-2022. Drafting Kincaid and playing more 12 was an emphasis that could keep defenses more off balance. If teams wanted to cover 2 she’ll us to death as they were in 20-22, then we could more easily take what the defense gave us in terms of running the ball and in the short passing game. As a result, we saw more team play cover one and funnel passes to the boundaries. We didn’t have the correct personnel to excel on the outside to start 2024. Traded for cooper after drafting Keon to help out. Then signed man beater Palmer and the speedy Moore to replace the washed Cooper. Teams have no reverted to playing more cover 2 vs us this season and Josh (and Brady) is taking what the D is giving us. While I haven’t watched much all 22 this season, Joe Marino has stated that we are running deep routes, but teams aren’t giving us the looks to throw deep. We’re averaging 34 ppg. Can’t complain much about what we’ve been doing. Having the ability to play the short and the deep game has been working for the most part. Pertaining to the defense and 3 LB sets- since McD took over- every team knew that we’d be running Taron out there 85-100%of the snaps and taking advantage of the lighter boxes was their choice. Running the ball and short passing game/rac was their choice a lot of the time. While getting off thr field on 3rd has been a major problem in 2 games so far, we’re still able to accomplish McD MO on D. Limiting big plays and forcing teams to dunk and dunk down the field with hopes to get a turnover. MO stays the same, but being more multiple in our sets forces teams to take different approaches at times. We’re also blitzing a lot more this year (to my eye, no stats to back this up, so I could be wrong). Bringing pressure from variable gaps has the ability to confuse offenses. Disguise is key.
  3. No Shaq Thompson? I think Bitonio and Hayward could be 2nd ballot. Possibly Evans. add von Miller 💯 Saquon and maybe Nelson. good list Ethan 👍🏻
  4. They could miss the playoffs outright if the afc gets their act together
  5. Chiefs. 💯 they have an easier road in the 2nd half of their schedule will (possibly) have rice and worthy. If we win the Super Bowl it won’t be the same OL 💩 Bonus points
  6. Man, I looooved me some Teddye Buchanan coming out of the draft. DeCosta is an incredible drafter. I think he’s the best I can remember- following in the footsteps of the previous best drafter, Ozzie. Howie would probably have something to say about that.
  7. Hutchinson really showed poor reaction/hustle on that TD run. Once Henry committed to the inside, he loafed from containment to crash. He could’ve made that tackle with some effort imo
  8. Did you even read any of the posts in the thread?
  9. Those are the best comments- “message board police”- people give their opinions and people give their opinions on other peoples opinions. I give my opinion on peoples positive takes…..but it’s being the message board police when I give my opinion of those who post 90% negativity. This team is great and you hate reading people talking about how great they are. You must hate watching/reading the media too. Thats pretty much all anyone says….because we have one of the best teams in the league. When we sucked, I could understand why people would post 90% negativity. It’s warranted. In 2025- I don’t see why anyone would do such a thing. i never said you weren’t anything other a negative poster. I’m fairly sure I’ve complimented you several times and consider you to be one of my favorite posters.
  10. Football is entertainment. The Bills are our favorite past time. Reading message boards is entertainment. Reading the same people b*******g about the same things over and over in every thread isn’t entertaining for anyone except for those that enjoy wallowing in misery. Reading the same people being positive about our team, which just so happens to be rated top 3 (if not #1) by 💯 of the nfl community. If our team wasn’t this good; If there was such thing as a team with zero holes; if there was such a thing as a GM that never makes mistakes….. then I could understand the unrelenting negative posts. When we were in the drought and constant negativity was warranted, I would post about 50/50 positive/negative. But this team is great and it brings me happiness. I understand that teams, GMs and coaches aren’t perfect, that Super Bowls aren’t won in September and that crying and whining about the same things over and over again net zero positive results. If there’s something I don’t like, I mention it once or twice nowadays. Constant negativity has no place on a Buffalo Bills message board in 2025. A overwhelming majority of the fan bases wish they were us. I prefer to enjoy it. edit: and some people don’t realize that they are overly negative. Mentioning it to them may open the eyes of those unaware if they have an open mind and don’t have the ego of Jim Harbaugh- as @T.E.has openly admitted. Maybe he’ll enjoy this board more than he already does.
  11. This stems from me reading your posts and rolling my eyes at pretty much all of them. Maybe I’m glossing over your “good posts” and not realizing that you posted them- if that’s the case, my apologies. I usually read posts and then look at who posted them if I have a reaction to them. In recent months, when I roll my eyes at a post irl, it’s either you or 5-6 other posters. It’s very rare when it’s not one of you guys
  12. Your posts suck. Pretty much all of them. They are not misunderstood.
  13. I’m a part of the “crying and whining about football on a message board is a waste of my life contingent”. I’ve had my fair share of negative posts in my day. Looking back, I just looked like a little crybaby b***h and it didn’t do anything positive for my life. Some people just like to breed negativity. There are too many positive aspects of this franchise as it currently stands to be such a downer. But do you.
  14. 🤣 thanks bud. I’ve been using it for over a decade now but I know I’ve missed out on hundreds of good laughs- it’s usually a last resort nowadays
  15. You’ve been member here since 2011. I don’t remember seeing you until this season. Your contributions to the board were far more enjoyable prior to this season.
  16. He was still turning the ball over a ton under daboll and Dorsey. He become the best player in the league under Brady. McDs hatred for turnovers was probably imprinted in Allen’s head over time too. They all get some credit, along with Palmer, but Allen gets the most credit due to his focus and motivation to become the best
  17. And now we all know your name, Brandon Ray Very insightful article you wrote there Brandon
  18. I’m a jersey guy.
  19. And it will be white knuckled ball control offense again this season. That’s what this offense is and It should be until it’s not successful. That doesn’t mean we can’t/won’t take shots during a ball control game. It’s what helps set up the deep shots. Mack Hollins scored on a 34 yards TD vs KC last season. We had pass plays of 55, 34, 25, 24 and 19 vs the broncos in the playoffs. I don’t see any reason to doubt this offense at this point in the season while we’re averaging 34+ ppg. Coleman, Kincaid, Palmer, Shakir and Moore are all capable of making plays downfield. As are Knox, the RBs and Shavers. Offenses evolve as the season goes on. I don’t think our weapons are incapable of continuing to improve. In fact, I expect many of them to do just that.
  20. No reason to show our hand this early in the season playing vs bum teams.
  21. We do not need a new backup RB. Ty is one of the best backups in the league regardless of his inconsistency through 3 games this season. We need to see how the pass rush is once Hoecht and Larry are eligible. If they don’t improve it- then adding another pass rusher would be welcome. I just don’t think we’ll be in the market for one unless Bosa gets injured prior to the trade deadline. I don’t see us adding another WR this season barring injury. I think our WRs will be fine. I think our LBs will be fine. Sure, an upgrade would be nice- but at what cost and will they be able to step in a play the system to McDs standard. Same goes for corner and safety. Tre, Hairston and Strong will likely have to do opposite of Benford. If Benford goes down, maybe we add a corner. If Rapp goes down, maybe we add a safety, but I would think we might give Hancock a shot at it. That said- Beane is usually pretty aggressive in upgrading something at the deadline.
