  1. Sucks? We almost lost him to the Bears as a free agent with no compensation, now we move him and get a pick out of it.
  2. Some would argue to draft a QB every draft too as if unearth a diamond in rubble could turn it into valuable draft picks. Ron Wolf had great success doing so in Green Bay.
  3. And he wouldn't count in the draft pick compensation formula since he was cut. I'd be willing to bring him in.
  4. Xavier Leggette is as close to Metcalf you'll see although some say his RAS is more Andre Johnson but he just doesn't have college production. Yet think he favorably compares to Eric Moulds too.
  5. The reason Zay was productive as he was he wasn't competing for balls in Baltimore. That's what people fail to look when look at performance. Most of Gabe's numbers came early before Kincaid became a more focal point of the offense. Zay had 26 more targets but less receiving yards and TDs than Gabe. So how is this an improvement? Toss in he doesn't have the size Gabe has. I'll admit at 28 the guy I like is Legette yet not sure he'll be as good as Gabe last year but he has a bigger upside than Gabe as he's faster.
  6. And Flutie was far from competent at the end of the 1999 season. Under Flutie we scored 19.6 points a game which wouldn't be enough against the 22 the Titans scored in the playoffs game. Here are Flutie's last 4 games. 22/40 220 yards 1 TD 2 INT 1 FL 2 sacks 15/32 184 yards 1 TD 1 INT 1 FL 3 sacks 21/32 239 yards 2 TD 2 INT 0 FL 2 sacks 22/35 212 yards 0 TD 0 INT 0 FL 3 sacks Oh and just a comparison Flutie's game vs the Colts in Week 1 vs RJs in Week 17. For those that feel the Colts weren't playing anything, they had a chance at the number 1 seed in the Conference had they won. 22/42 300 yards 1 TD 2 INT 1 FL 5 sacks 24/32 287 yards 2 TD 0 INT 0 FL 0 sacks
  7. The difference is Kelce also a physical mismatch as too big for a DB and too elusive for a LB. Stevie Johnson was able to free lance as a WR. While he was able to put up good stats I wouldn't but him in Diggs' class.
  8. Richard Lewis' passing makes things bitter sweet.
  9. As a kid I adored Rickey Henderson and became an A's team and been with them ever since. Yet with them moving to Vegas I might have to move on to Toronto since their proximity to Buffalo/playing here during Covid. I really don't follow the NBA, I liked the Nuggets during the Motombo era but not really followed anyone to say I'd say they're my team.
  10. To quote his NFL.com draft bio, last season was his first season with over 30 targets.
  11. He got them a new HC in Sean Payton...
  12. That's a fair assessment as any. I think our S talent to drop a little too.
  13. Jets couldn't trade for him even with Aaron Rodgers at QB and the Bucs with questions at QB with Baker unsigned. Gotta like that as a Bills fan.
  14. Always liked the Mort Report as he always had some inside information and was a true reporter on ESPN unlike the talking heads.
  15. So you saying he's got good vision? 😁 Johnson should be an easy re-sign but think he isn't a RB2, I'd look to add a vet with size or draft a kid on day 3.
  16. Its just he too similar to what we already have in Diggs and Shakir. We need a complimentary piece not a supplementary.
  17. I'll be honest Mitchell and Legette's speed surprised me a little. I think it cause Mitchell to move up and out of our reach. Yet Legette, hmmm I mean he seems to breakaway on tape but wonder about his short area quickness to get open but if hel fell to #28 I think I'd take him. Of course still high on Cornelius Johnson from Michigan but he likely moved up a round with his combine performance. True but think Jerry also needs a RB with Pollard likely gone too. WR shouldn't be tops on his list if ask me.
  18. I just don't see him being a 5-7 grabs a game than can move the chains type which we're going to need when Diggs leaves.

  20. I do not see Ladd as a #1 and think many feel we're looking to draft a #2 that can develop into a #1 to eventually succeed Diggs in three years.
  21. Trading up for a WR who bust in a strong draft year is so reminiscent of Sammy Watkins. No thanks. We'd have a lot to lose as we have serious depth issues at RB, DL, OL and S. We're not a single player away
  22. Toss in the busting of Skyy Moore and Mecole Hardman they aren't great at identifying WRs.
  23. The Cowboys have Michael Gallup and Brandon Cooks, what else do they need at WR? With Tyron Smith on the outs I've gotta think OT is high on their board.
  24. He had throat cancer.
  25. It's funny but when I read Xavier Legette's evaluation and read someone called him a good kick returner too and made me think of Moulds because both have alpha big WR bodies..
