To anyone who is on the fence, I'd recommend watching it. I've finished episode 1, and so far it's just a very good documentary, a good cautionary tale, and it spoke to me as a father to two young boys. It doesn't glorify Hernandez or excuse his behavior in any way. It just paints a picture of the man and his upbringing, and it's left up to you to draw your own conclusions. It also takes time to honor Odin Lloyd and his family.

It's a terrible thought, but the same thing passed through my mind. I pray this dude isn't going to pay too severe a price for his passion and sacrifice on the field.

Allen slammed on ESPN

OMG...I still don't understand WTH Knox was doing on that sweep. As others have said, he makes that easy block and Allen scampers for 20 yards, maybe even a touchdown. Extremely frustrating. -
AFC teams. Which are ascending. Which are descending.

I know one thing - it's going to be Bills vs. Dolphins for the division for the next 5-6 years, imo. Much like the early 90s. Dolphins are probably one year behind us in their timetable, but they will be good under Flores. -
Honestly, coaching was a mixed bag yesterday. Daboll called a GREAT first half until the brainfart draw to Gore. Same goes for the defensive game plan prior to halftime. McDermott also deserves credit for the way he handled the end of game situation with the first down spike with the punter. And I like how we brought pressure on the game deciding play - just didn't tackle. The big shock to me was how we completely lost our composure (from the entire coaching staff, to the defense overpursuing and losing contain, to Tre White getting toasted, to Allen spontaneously losing 50 football IQ points, etc.) after that JJ Watt sack. We were completely dazed and confused for the next 20 minutes of game time and there was seemingly a lack of leadership in getting the guys refocused and composed. Only guy who looked solid was Hauschka. I felt we were a pretty disciplined and emotionally steady team the entire season and just didn't expect to see us unravel like that. Goes to show the importance of playoff experience.

Playoff #1 Bills @ Texans PostGame Thread

I don't think we were Super Bowl caliber, so it's just one week less of football to watch. The key is how we respond to this loss. We really came unglued in the second half. Let's hope we build on this experience instead of folding. -
