  1. Ok, you’re thinking outside the box, which is good, but I don’t understand the benefit to the NFL of this premise at all. The NFL is already more popular than the CFL in Canada. It is absolutely no threat to the NFL; further, a merger doesn’t help the NFL. The player pool is too diluted. Perhaps the CFL is making these changes simply for the benefit of players and coaches, so they are playing the same brand of football should they have an opportunity to try out for or be hired by an NFL team. Perhaps they also see that their goofy football hasn’t caught on elsewhere. The only way I see any sort of “merger” between these leagues is if the CFL disbanded and one or two of their teams were incorporated into the NFL (Toronto, Montreal).
  2. I think Cinci likes Browning. He had a bit of a rough go of it last week but Wilson isn’t better.
  3. So 0 tech plays over the C, 1 tech between C and G, 2 tech over the G, and 3 tech between G and T?
  4. Oh, a Sabres fan. Good one, dude. I’d say most of Pegula’s “projects” have fared quite well…
  5. There has been no proof presented in any form that suggests that is not the case...just a bunch of whining about stairs on a rendering.
  6. Well, they could both be 1-2-1…just sayin. What a time to be alive…
  7. And everyone said the Lions were dead after W1… ”No Ben Johnson! No Aaron Glenn!” Meanwhile, our old buddy Kelvin Sheppard looking pretty comfortable in the DC role… Fun team. Would like to see them vs. the Bills in February.
  8. 2-game lead over KC and 2.5-game lead over BAL after three weeks? Pinch me.
  9. There goes Roy Hobbs, the best there ever was… RIP
  10. Most talented roster in football! I’ve read it here dozens of times!
  11. For the people who still just don't get the gist of this thread...I'm not suggesting that everything has gone perfectly. That's unrealistic and ridiculous. When looking at the big picture of where we sit after week 3, however, it is difficult to imagine much more going right for this team. I'm actually glad there are a number of things to work on and improve upon -- 3rd down defense, pass rush, CB2, safety play, downfield passing -- because who wants to peak with more than three months remaining in the regular season? It's almost scary to think what this team could be by January.
  12. Signature win against top contender Two division wins KC slow start AFC East looking like a runaway again Allen playing at other-worldly level Cook making new contract look like an underpay Kincaid healthy and making plays Defense “surviving” despite key injuries/suspensions and getting young guys valuable reps I mean, sure, folks are always going to complain about something (see: first page of this forum), but realistically it’s hard to find fault with how things are playing out to date, with a very manageable schedule leading into the KC game. Go Bills!
  13. Lots of bad football out there. As Bills fans we are very lucky.
  14. Points you score personally. Passing TDs don’t count.
  15. Did he confirm that Brady’s playcalling sucks and Josh is now a ***** playing QB?
  16. This discussion is hilarious, as if a new stadium being built today will intentionally have obstructed view seats.
  17. I’m glad everyone is worried about Josh and an offense putting up 30+ every game and 450 yards of offense.
  18. I was looking at some random franchise stats today and realized Josh trails only Thurman Thomas and Andre Reed, who each had 522 career points as Bills. Josh has 422. That’s only 17 more rushing TDs… He’s also only 37 more passing TDs away from tying Jimbo. We are witnessing history.
  19. Exactly. This team is 3-0 with multiple injuries and suspensions on defense, yet in the last two games they’ve allowed a combined total of 430 yards. The defense was always going to start slow and get better as the season progresses.
  20. That’s not “obstructed view” seating.
  21. I agree, he made some nice plays. We just can’t expect him to cover a speed receiver running across the flat…he doesn’t have those wheels any more. Can’t wait for Hairston to get in there. The Bills gave up 4.5 yards per play and 250 yards total. There wasn’t a whole lot of butter on that toast.
  22. YPG is an average…
