  1. I totally took advantage of the $100 off early renewal. $289 for ST and RZ for the season is a bargain.
  2. I’ll take a contrarian view — when you have a good offense you should only attempt 50+ FGs if you’re at the end of a half or you need it to win or tie a game.
  3. Little premature I'd say, and certainly not "by far."
  4. Chris Russo is a radio legend? LOLOLOL
  5. Actually 4 -- Coleman, Shakir, Samuel, and Hollins. Everyone else brought in or retained from last season is fighting for spots 5 and 6.
  6. Don't waste your breath. The "McD is the puppetmaster" crowd only dig their heels in deeper... It's a weird psychological reaction some have to hearing facts that don't support their mistaken beliefs.
  7. Great message there. "Hey ladies, forget about doing what you're passionate about because men can't control themselves and 'it is what it is.' Sorry, sugar britches." Good lord.
  8. Forgive me, I apparently should have typed "what competent NFL GMs working in functional organizations..." I thought that was self-explanatory.
  9. Please enlighten me with what NFL GMs you believe pick players they don’t think the HC wants.
  10. Lampanelli is great, I agree. Amy Shumer would have been good as well. Nikki Glazer absolutely slayed, however.
  11. Ok, I didn't listen to all of the press conferences so I missed that, but it's not as if everyone didn't know KC was looking for a receiver also, and unless there is ONE guy you've "gotta have" then the trade back is an easy call.
  12. I disagree. I think those conversations are part of draft trades all the time.
  13. Here is, I believe, a very plausible scenario from draft night: Pick 28 is approaching...Beane would be ok with any of several WRs still on the board, but is not interested in Worthy. Beane also desperately wants to get a 3rd round pick in this draft. Teams start calling, including KC, who makes the best offer. Beane asks who they are targeting...they tell him. Knowing he doesn't want Worthy (and can't keep KC from trading into #29, 30, or 31), Beane makes the trade. He then still "knows" that one of his guys will most likely be there three picks later because Dallas isn't taking a WR and Baltimore has more pressing needs. The Pats*** start calling Beane because they want Legette or Coleman. When SF takes Pearsall Beane is now guaranteed to get one of those two. He calls his buddy Morgan and determines they want Legette, which is fine with Beane. It's a no-brainer to make the trade with Carolina for more draft capital, and in the process you keep your division rival from getting their target.
  14. Correct. Beane knew Carolina was taking Legette, and I think he knew who KC was after as well. We don't know what he did or didn't know about picks 29-31, but I assume he knew one of the WRs he would be happy with would be available.
  15. …if this was already mentioned I apologize. Rumor is that the Pats*** were targeting either Coleman or Legette and had a deal “construct” in place with Buffalo before Beane dealt with Carolina instead, therefore taking away both of the Pats*** targets. They then moved back further from #34. I love it.
  16. Nah, just a guy having fun. Sorry that is so foreign to you!
  17. This board really does crack me up. The Bills’ projected top 4 WR of Coleman, Shakir, Samuel, and Hollins (I love the people sleeping on him) is as good as we’ve had here in some time. NOBODY with a brain thinks the 8 guys they have brought in to compete for spots #5 and 6 are making a difference in any way besides special teams. Add a blue chipper in Kincaid, along with Cook, Knox, and Ray Davis, and there is absolutely NO reason to think this team doesn’t have an offense capable of scoring almost at will. The Bills’ top 5 projected “pass catchers” going into this season easily rival any of the teams I mentioned, save SF. Some of you just love to complain.
  18. Weaker than Baltimore and Detroit? Come on. St. Brown is a slot receiver. Baltimore’s offense is always shut down in the playoffs. KC got better with Worthy but who knows when Kelce starts slipping (and Rice is a ?). It’s not an uphill battle at all. As many have noted, Buffalo’s problem in the playoffs hasn’t been offense — it’s stopping Mahomes and Burrow.
  19. Some of you aren’t understanding this…the players I listed for those teams are those who were their biggest contributors at the WR, TE, and RB positions. Those groups as a whole are not demonstrably stronger than what the Bills have — in my opinion. KC added Worthy. Good for them. I think the Bills have plenty to compete for a championship.
  20. It has been repeated so often how the Bills are “in trouble” at WR because of Beane’s supposed mismanagement of the roster and the losses of Diggs and Davis, that I finally started really looking at what is going on around the league. I started with the four teams who made the conference championships last season, and who they got there with: KC, Baltimore, Detroit, and SF. SF is sort of an anomaly because they are loaded at the skill positions — perhaps the best group in the league. But the other three — a completely different story. Last season: KC: Kelce, Rice, Pacheco, and…? BAL: Andrews, Flowers, Edwards, OBJ, and…? DET: St. Brown, LaPorta, Reynolds, Gibbs, and…? Notice something about all three? The TE may be the best receiver on the team, and their WR rooms are anything other than “loaded.” The Bills will roll out Kincaid, Coleman, Shakir, Samuel, and Cook…aside from the unknown that is Coleman, this is a group one could very easily argue is more talented than what those other teams put on the field last season while getting to their conference championships. Agree? Disagree?
  21. Chase Claypool ain’t making the team unless he has had a complete epiphany. The Bills are kicking the tires but he’s a long shot at best. The biggest difference in the Bills’ WR room is that they are drafting/signing people who don’t drop the ball.
  22. Claypool signing is clearly a McDermott move. I wish he’d stop meddling with the roster decisions. /sarcasm off
  23. My prediction is Thursday 5/9.
  24. Looking at the schedule (it's pretty tough), I think a 10-11 win season and playoff berth is a success and what I'd expect.
