In August this was a prototypical post from a lot of fans who claim to be “realists.” I love it when obsessive pessimists who fool themselves into believing they’re analytical are proven wrong. Believe the hype. These Bills are due.

Well McKenzie’s performance on Sunday sure gave me a bit of relief if Beas isn’t ready this week. And we got Smoke back. Let Beas mend for the AFCC and SB.

They were also the #1 3rd down defense if I recall correctly. Bottom line: the Bills are on absolute fire and we need four more games of this.

It’s all good. Unless you’re a Bills fan (or have to listen to one all the time) you likely viewed Allen as a mediocre QB prior to this season. Only those who really watched the Bills saw the growth and potential, and even some of those people didn’t think he’d get much better. I’ve posted about how rare Josh is, and how necessary it was to look beyond the stats, so many times I’ve forgotten, but I don’t hold grudges against non-Bills fans who didn’t see it. Even in his rookie season look how Josh elevated those around him. Foster is an afterthought in this league now but Josh had us believing he might be a WR1! Anyway, like I said, it’s all good. I mean, prior to the first game this season the favorite comment on the Jets’ board was about the RB the Bills had playing QB. They’re quiet now.

LOL! Still riding that ALynn pony. He went to a franchise LOADED on both sides of the ball, then got his a$$ handed to him in the playoffs by Belichick in one of the worst showings I’ve ever seen. His special teams and game management have been among the worst in the league. I know you still think the 2016 Bills were “on the cusp” and Lynn would have been the perfect choice but it’s time to own up to a horribly bad take. If ALynn gets another HC job I’ll be very surprised.

You certainly didn’t see me bemoaning those losses in the offseason.

The number of penalties as a whole doesn’t tell us much. How many are pre-snap (i.e., undisciplined/unprepared) vs. post-snap? How many undisciplined personal fouls?

Hate that Beasley is hurt but we really can’t ask for better health at this point of the season.

Oh I made several bets and have profited handsomely on the Bills this year. The o/u was 8.5 or 9 wins in most places. I just wasn’t stupid enough to take an even money bet for 12 wins with a couple of morons who don’t understand odds.

Cared at the time and thought the MF was a quitter. Understand the financial part of the deal but he’s a loser and always will be.

Meh. Here’s the deal — some label me a homer with inaccurate predictions from years past because those idiots don’t understand the difference between “hoping” something works out because you’re a fan and “predicting” something works out. A few very self-important posters on this forum were certain the Pegulas made a mistake letting Lynn go and hiring McD. They conveniently forget that now, though.

I’m super excited fans will be at our playoff game. From what I’ve read it will only be STH and no transferable tickets of any sort. Wish I could be there but will enjoy it from my living room.

You know, life is too short for me to worry about negative ninnies or “realists” like @ScottLaw, @BADOLBILZ, and @C.Biscuit97 any more. The bottom line is I predicted 10-6 last year, 12+ this year, and was willing from the get-go to see what was REALLY going on with Josh Allen and this team. I am loving this season and team so much my heart is bursting out of my chest.
