  1. Josh isn’t going to be partying the week before the Super Bowl.
  2. I can't possibly love our QB any more. Buffalo deserves him and he deserves us. The parade will be epic.
  3. Don't know if it has been mentioned in the thread, but on the Howard and Jeremy podcast (WGR) they claim Farwell resigned shortly after the game. If true, yet another reason to respect the way McD runs things. No firing, no public announcement he wouldn't be back...let him go look for work elsewhere and then matter-of-factly announce the internal promotion after Farwell has his new job. Respect and dignity for all involved.
  4. Tuscadero? Nah, she was rough around the edges but not a hooker. Pinky, on the other hand...
  5. “Key role” Meanwhile in NOLA…
  6. Plenty of Dopeys on TSW. Does that count?
  7. Yup, this is where I’m at. Don’t want any young punk QB winning another one in the AFC before Josh. I’d like to see the Rams bury them. Bobby Johnson SUCKED and SUCKS. The Kromer hire is going to be looked back upon as *the* move that made the Bills offense unstoppable.
  8. Until Bill figures out a way to make the Bills punt I'm not too worried about what failed HC he brings back into the fold.
  9. What NFL QB in the history of the game has played consecutive playoff games as well as Josh Allen just finished his season? Where, precisely, does Josh need to go to “get there?” I’ll wait…
  10. Before I begin my response let me make something clear: I like soccer. I played it at a reasonably high level through high school. My dad was German and actually had some records at UB for a while. I understand and respect the game. I don’t watch soccer now except for the Euros and World Cup. Couldn’t care less about the leagues here and abroad. I have always stated, and still believe, that soccer is the world’s most popular sport for one reason only — it’s cheap. You need a field and a ball. It can be played anywhere and requires no financial investment. But it’s not the most entertaining or “beautiful” sport. Not by a long shot. I’ve heard the same people predict soccer’s rise in the US over the years and chuckled under my breath. I think it is as big as it will ever get.
  11. Sugar High Josh looked at that play and told Murray to "settle down."
  12. And thus we now have the biggest question of the offseason…who is Josh going to race at the end of each practice?
  13. LOL. Old joke as there were a few ninnies around here bemoaning letting Gillislie go, and then he proceeded to fall off the face of the earth.
  14. I know we treat McD and Beane as one entity at times, but coaching hires are squarely in McD’s domain. Sean is serious about making the Bills better and I’m already psyched about the offense for next season despite losing Daboll. Somebody get that man a bro! Or a manssiere. Something. Good lord.
  15. How did we let that guy get away? He’s got to be getting fitted for his HOF jacket by now.
  16. Let’s not get ahead of ourselves…first the Pats*** must be awarded two compensatory draft picks.
  17. It’s just really weird how a thread about intriguing WR FAs turned into a “you don’t care about defense” indictment.
  18. LOL. I just don’t think you get it. The Bills were in the AFC championship last year, and a brain fart away from hosting the AFC championship this year. “Have not done much to help him out.” LOL again. This team doesn’t have glaring weaknesses; they just need to continue to move forward, and to me that means continuing to add weapons for Josh. I refuse to be a fan pounding his fist on the table for a “splash” move at DE. The Bills are not at home right now because their defense wasn’t good enough, and if one more person tells me about how the Bengals “shut down” Mahomes I might explode. The Bills’ coaches failed them by not making necessary adjustments. You think the Bills lose that game if Tre is playing? I believe that McD learns from his mistakes. I’ve seen him evolve year after year, and I think that will continue. The Bills will have an above average defense and an elite offense, and hopefully a coach who is better at the in-game adjustments that can make a huge difference.
  19. Yes, I made fun of an ages old football "truism." That doesn't mean I don't think defense is important, and you know it. Window, schmindow. When you have an elite QB your window is every year. The good GMs find a way to manipulate the cap to their advantage, and I'm sure Beane will do the same.
  20. If anyone thinks I’m saying the Bills should “ignore” defense they are taking an overly simplistic view of my post and this thread. My overall perspective is that when you have a bell cow at QB, you don’t let him “make do” with what you have; you keep putting more players around him. On defense the Bills need to upgrade at CB2 and continue searching for impact players on the line. That is not in dispute.
  21. Agree. I don’t envision Crowder or Kirk as “pricey overkill.”
  22. This is true, I just look at the Bills’ defensive failure in that game as one of coaching and adjustments, not talent. For my money, I’m going to give the big fella all the weapons I can.
