Dan, after thinking about things completely irrationally and looking through a Bills-tinted lens, I have come to the conclusion that the 2022 Bills may go down as one of the best teams in NFL history. I'm only half-kidding. I believe the Bills have the best offense in football and they might also have the best defense. It's a shame Tre White won't be ready for four or more games, but I don't think that's going to slow them down. This is going to be one heluva fun year.

Yep, they fooled me last year with that poor start. I think it was a learning experience, as they were coming off an unexpected AFCC game appearance and probably took things a bit for granted. I don't believe that happens this year.

This is an oversimplification, but you pass to score points and run to keep defenses honest. The most important aspect of a good run game is to prevent defenses from keying on the pass, and then to eat clock at the end of games. You don’t consistently win in the NFL being one-dimensional. Teams that completely ignore the run game do not win championships.

That’s an interesting take, but I’ll stick with Ed. All reports were that he was basically un-blockable during camp. With Von causing disruption, a capable DT playing next to him, and Groot on the other side, I think we’ll see Ed blossom this year.
