Get Kirk Cousins in the offseason.
Bleeding Bills Blue replied to Buffalo Barbarian's topic in The Stadium Wall Archives
Browns, bears, jets, 49ers... all pick in front of us. Browns might get 2 picks in front of us... All need Qbs. I honestly think Whaley is in your camp that he'd like to see better play there - but he's more likely to keep his job if he can build a playoff team now, not in 3 years. Sure its not a super bowl winner, but getting the monkey off the back would do well for his job security. -

They can just tag him again... Wentz's problems are the same as Tyrods. He's missing pretty badly too. Didn't watch Goff, but i heard it was rather uninspiring. Why would i want to hitch my trailer to the 3rd or 4th best rookie QB this year...? Rex knows its playoffs or bust next year. This indicates bust - him and whaley would get fired. Year 1 of a new coach/GM - sure i could see it. But Year 3? They're going to want to bring their guy back... which also means 4 years for Tyrod. -
There are like 6 teams looking for QBs every year. This year it'll probably be Jets, Browns, Bears, 49ers, maybe zona or Jax and i guess us. There are like no can't miss rookie QBs in this draft, and the browns 49ers jets bears get 4 shots before we would get one. So that means we'd have to overpay for cutler/mccown/fitz/RG3/Kaepernick or something. And for the cutler fans - career 1-1 in playoffs, and that was 6 years ago. I just don't know if he has it in him. So having watched many of those guys play... they are no more accurate than Tyrod. Without a solid WR option the bengals played press pretty much every snap to throw off his timing. It's easier to run on since you can block right off the snap, but guys were struggling to get off the line all game. I'm sure there were throws to be made etc. but I also didn't think we called a particularly good game to get guys open out of press coverage. We have like 0 bunch formations, and we don't use motion enough to get people open. His new contract is essentially a 2 year deal with an out in year 3. I'd pick it up.

There aren't a lot of good qbs out there... both the first 2 picks in the draft looked like garbage today. Bortles looks lousy. All the qbs in San Fran stink. Tannehill had a pretty crummy game. I just worry where we're drafting if it's wise to just draft someone and have the fall back option be a hoyer or mccown. Then we're worse. Do we want to lose more games?

Tannehill has like 50 yards passing and Miami is getting shut out... -
He missed a few easy ones. Woods play was nice. Tate play was nice. Terrible playcalls in the rz almost cost us. They cleaned up the penalties in the 2nd half on defense and it showed. We couldn't pass without woods and McCoy. They couldn't do much without green. Run the ball there... just don't get it. In to goal situations we ran way too many passes as well. Keep running it!

Gillislee is rolling! Let's throw an out route to harvin? Tt played like total garbage. Woods going out definitely affected him. Lynn was so hot and cold out there. Hats off to the defense. Didn't give up any ground in the 2nd half He gets an f today. Needs a woods like route runner

Anyone else bothered by the colors on the scoreboard? Cinn is orange despite wearing black. Buffalo is red despite wearing white -
Safeties for that team: Searcy and A-williams. Not on the team and hurt for most of past 2 seasons. Both pretty solid players... much better than meeks and duke. Fairly steep drop off there. Dareus has played 1 game for us this year - that year he played 15 for Schwartz. KW and MW were both 2 years younger and playing in a scheme that fit them. Oh and they missed a single game between the pair. They were good. Only gave up 30 points 1 time all year to NE. They were also oddly healthy for a bills team that never seems to be healthy. Oh and the REAL REASON we don't still have him as a coach? The coach we had quit his job... so don't blame DW, Rex, or Pegula. Blame Marrone.

Who hasn't been arrested at 4AM on Chippewa?! For a while there, allen was getting pretty bad. They had to shut hardware down because of all the fighting going on outside there. I've been keeping to the north towns for the last few years now. -

Class isn't looking that promising as a QB class TBH. I like Kizer. People are high on the kid from NC but I'll admit i have yet to watch him play. Seen a bunch of Watson - he looks... i dunno OK i guess? I don't know what I'm looking for when evaluating college kids though. -
Robert Woods updated market value per Spotrac
Bleeding Bills Blue replied to YoloinOhio's topic in The Stadium Wall Archives
Yeah - if we aren't going to make the playoffs anyway why not let this guy go down slinging it Sanu and Jones both came from a passing offense with a solid QB and a top dog peeling coverage. Garcon and woods are fairly similar, and Garcon had some really solid years in Indy that helped him get paid. I could see Woods in Indy or Washington and having some pretty productive years. Washington has Crowder and Doctson, but Woods can play inside or outside. Colts have TY and Moncrief, could probably use a woods in the slot, and their running game could use his blocking. -
