  1. Just stay away from the WPOP.
  2. I picked up the DVD from this little Chinese lady on Canal Street Saturday. I'll let you know how "bad" the bootleg was.
  3. My favorite 3rd down back was Robb Riddick. Maybe Shaud is out there because Willis has a habit of running out of bounds on 3rd down.
  4. '69 Chiefs AFL beats the NFL I won two weeks allowance on a bet ($1.50)
  5. Are you sure it wasn't Moby Grape?
  6. I wore my No Goal t-shirt until it fell apart.
  7. ...and do you have tickets to the game Saturday? I went to the Patriots game because I had family coming in from out of state, old friends to see again, new friends to meet (Nick in England), so I made the best of the "game". Wearing orange is a great idea, IMO. I would love to see the TV cameras pan out to a sea of orange filling the tv screen. Bills Nation not Jerk Nation!
  8. Smerlas resented the fact that he was never given a chance to be out played by Jeff Wright. The team decided it was time to go with younger players and simply let him go after a pro bowl season. That really kind of poisoned him at the time. I met him several years ago and we had a very good conversation. I had a Smerlas shirt made when he was cut, and he signed it that day. He has an opinion and voices it loudly. I often disagree with him, but I think it would be fun to watch a game and pound down some cold ones with him. He would be very much at home here or on PPP. Thanks for the distant replay on my article, SDS!
  9. That game ended in a tie, too - not a loss! I was there that day, and no I was not the one who mugged Lustig. It was just a few years ago when there was a large rally at the Ralph when Bledsoe arrived. People just need a reason to believe the team will win and the fans will rally. Back in the 40's in a playoff game between Buffalo at Baltimore in the AAFC, the game was turned on a controversial call in the Bills favor, and the fans set the wooden seats in the stadium on fire. Not much has changed.
  10. Excellent report, Nick. It was a pleasure to meet you and your Dad.
  11. Now THAT would be a good Christian attitude.
  12. Really. Between the radio, newspapers and the Wall, I have heard this word used to describe yesterday's game about a dozen or more times. Choose your own Webster definition: 1 : a tumultuous breakup of ice in a river 2 : a violent disruption (as of an army) : ROUT 3 a : a great disaster 3 b : a complete failure : FIASCO The tailgate was a great success yesterday, but the game? We left at 28-0 not unlike the tumultuous breakup of ice in a river.
  13. I will! It is only my third game of the season and the weather is great! I usually plan on a "sun" game and a "snow" game. I have been working outside today and I hope it is this warm tomorrow. Snow games are a blast if it stays around 30 degrees. Regardless of what the Bills do, I will be seeing friends and family, so it will be a good day. You have fun too, Steve!
  14. Sadly, one of the weakest songs of the show was the finale Sunshine of your Love. Overall, it was an excellent show! "...and for a $250 membership you can have both CDs AND the 2 DVD set." Seems like I watch PBS mostly when they are fund raising.
  15. Just finishing up playing "Spoonful" They sound really tight.
  16. Oh, STFU. I am SO much better than you. (nice couch)
  17. This thread is so 70's. TOGA!
  18. Thanks for the link. I missed that one!
  19. with a nice avatar too !
  20. In my case that would be a big #80, considering the size of the "easel".
  21. I am not saying he has been fired, but the question must be asked - where is Donahoe? Isn't NOW when the VP and GM of the Buffalo Bills should be a dominant presence? The 87 year old OWNER has to fly in to town to settle a problem with the hired help, and Mr. Q-Tip is invisible. Gifs moider!
