I do not have season tickets or I might feel the same way about this weekend. Babyrock is coming in from Connecticut and I will meet up with her and our friends from The Wall in Lot One. I only go to a couple games a year and try to make one a snow game. I will never root for Miami to take the East. Seeya

Every now and then I hear that the Bills/Dolphins rivalry does not mean so much anymore. Usually it is an opinion held by younger fans. That is not their fault - I am not criticizing them for the year they were born. I just ask every Bills fan to remember that yesterday's debacle was like the entire decade of the seventies packed into one game. Imagine going ten years against the Fish and every time having the game be a loss. Blowouts, last minute interceptions, BS penalties to swing the outcome of the game. Remember what you felt like when the game was over yesterday... then imagine feeling that way twice a year for ten years. Miami is still the team to hate. Next week New England... see you there.

My perception was based on the books publication dates; that is the order they are usually presented in. I knew there was some time jumping going on in the order I read them, but thought it was intentional. Thanks for adding to my trivia base. CS Lewis SF / fantasy fans should also check out the Perelandra trilogy (Out of the Silent Planet, Perelandra, and That Hideous Strength).

The Bob Matthews show starts right after the 6PM news. It continues with various Bills Talk shows each day at 7PM. I like this station (except for Rushbo) and am glad they are finally doing it on line. I cannot get it on my office radio (AM broadcast not FM). Thanks for the link!

Thanks! If you flip the view, they are 8th in average game attendance. That is the stat I wanted to see. Green Bay is 1st by capacity, with about 1500 less people in attendance per week.

I listened to the Lost Christmas Eve. It was not bad, and as I said, I am sure it is great live. I like all types of music except opera, Beethoven to Black Sabbath, so I am not sure why TSO does not hit with me. I was really hoping to find new music, so I listened with great anticipation.

They must be better live. I listened to the CD a few times and really wanted to like it, but it just did not do anything for me. Those I have spoken to who have seen and heard their show absotively LOVE THEM, so it must be me.

I thought it was the hair that grows visibly out of the ear lobes that insulate the drum from the higher frequencies (and spouses requests to take out the trash)! Another theory is that the Grand Funk Railroad concert in 1971 blew up my head, as suspected.

I am not happy with this season. How can anyone be happy with this season? My reply is not entirely directed at YOU, by the way. Yes, my expectations were too high after Training Camp - I always start out the season optimistically. But if the Bills are not going to the Show, I will only get 16 games guaranteed in the season, and I will be DAMNED if I am going to cry doomed in week 4, or spend the season bitching about everything from the commercials on the jumbotron, to the time the parking lots open, to the quarterback's hairstyle. Like a television show, movie, or newspaper column, it is my choice to read, watch, listen, or ignore it. Thoughtful criticism is welcomed, poor journalism presented as editorial media is easily ignored. Right now the best I can do is try to enjoy each Sunday and hope the team can win. I have from January 2nd to September to B word about "woulda, shoulda, coulda"; you will also notice I am not posting with rose colored glasses on either. I understand your frustration. Sorry your season is over with 5 games left, and you make some excellent points; lots of things need to change NOW! I will make the best of it by another tailgate party or two and some garbage plates with good friends. I have plenty of time to say "Wait til next year".

Billboard Top 100 I heard they were going to have U2 on again but Bono got into an argument with Paul Tagliabue about selectively forgiving salary cap rules for 2006 to reduce free agent emigration from low market share cities.
