  1. Intellectual honesty? We are speculating on college football draft picks!! So, Brees got hot, but he sure sucked before that, right? I am not defending JP or dissing Ben R. I just do not think you can discuss the wisdom of draft picks intellectually in hindsight. God, 9:45 AM and I need a beer. You buying, Joe?
  2. I am sorry, but you are wrong!
  3. ...and we took that loser Lee Evans two picks later (and Losman 22nd). We SHOULDA traded the 13th, 22nd, and Bledsoe for Big Ben! BTW, what is QB Phil Rivers up to these days with San Diego? He was chosen 4th vs Big Ben 11th? Career stats: 2004 - 5/8, 33 yards, 1 TD 2005 - 1 play and he was sacked (-1) His career rating is 110.9 though! Games started = 0
  4. I would say that they were very fortunate. Look at all the recent top pick busts. Andre Reed was Round 7. What would you say to that?
  5. If I had dogs barking out Jingle Bells, I would call MTV. Maybe they would start playing music again.
  6. "Kopi (the Indonesian word for coffee) Luwak comes from the islands of Sumatra, Java and Sulawesi (formerly Celebes), which are part of the Indonesian Archepelago's 13,677 islands (only 6,000 of which are inhabited). But it's not strictly the exotic location that makes these beans worth their weight in silver. It's how they're "processed." On these Indonesian islands, there's a small marsupial called the paradoxurus, a tree-dwelling animal that is part of the sibet family. Long regarded by the natives as pests, they climb among the coffee trees eating only the ripest, reddest coffee cherries. Who knows who first thought of it, or how or why, but what these animals eat they must also digest and eventually excrete. Some brazen or desparate -- or simply lazy -- local gathered the beans, which come through the digestion process fairly intact, still wrapped in layers of the cherries' mucilage. The enzymes in the animals' stomachs, though, appear to add something unique to the coffee's flavor through fermentation." Marsupial Coffee
  7. I have to say it is one of the best movies I have seen in a long time. Anyone else have an opinion? It has not been talked about for a few weeks. I think that if this movie does not move your emotions and entertain you, you either really dislike fantasy or you are made of stone.
  8. I don't know. Babyrock and me were shouting, laughing and high-fiving to see the Bills do something right. I LOVED it. Oh yeah, I was supposed to root for them to lose so we could get a high pick and use it on another Mike Williams. I hope the Bills kick ass this weekend too!
  9. ...and we don't get paid to do it. I have an opinion and no one will pay for it. Imagine.....
  10. Could not have said it better. Hope your Christmas was happy! My best to you and Lisa! babyrock and pebbles say "hi!" Happy Holidays to all my TBD friends and family!
  11. Bills stuff I received: Scarf and lap blanket (made by Mrs Rock) Keychain T-shirt Fold-up (stuff sack) chair A photo scrap book from Babyrock with memories from games we attended live and at McFaddens with the NYBBBC from opening day 2003 to December 2005.
  12. White Chrismas by the Sticky Little Fingers
  13. Love the new avatar, Diane. Merry Christmas to you and yours. I pray this sh-- is over and your son comes home soon.
  14. Nice Christmas gift.
  15. Same to you! Hope there is not too much coal in your stocking!
  16. If I was Scott Norwood, I would have had cosmetic surgery and legally changed my name.
  17. Joe, you really need a pick me up: click here
  18. "Ba rum bum bum bum" Is that the sound of your avatar? Merry Christmas and Happy Hanukkah!
  19. ... and little boys.
  20. DING! I gotta go.
  21. No, only the lucky survive. Life is not fair. Hug your kid, your mom, your wife, your dad - every time you get the chance.
  22. The only problem that I have with orchestrated celebrations, is that the officials are blatantly inconsistent about celebration vs taunting. CJ is funny, and I never really minded celebrating, all the way back to the Icky Shuffle.
  23. This is the language the wife's familia will be speaking Christmas Eve. I understood almost everything you just said. I am a Swede by heritage and Italian by osmosis.
  24. Babyrock and Matt are supposed to have tickets. Is Mrs GG going?
  25. The season was OVER for me: Rationally: I knew is was over when the Bills tried everything they could to give the game to Miami on October 9th at home, but Miami was too inept to take it. Emotionally: I let go of any remaining hopes I had, after the Patriots road game loss, October 30th. Since then I have just been coasting, trying not to let them bother me too much.
