  1. Why the US government won't allow us to recover Noah's Ark. What are they hiding?
  2. We did this week one over the air on the ROC CBS affiliate and the radio synced up perfectly. We did not want to hear the fox people sucking off the bears the whole time. would have done it this last week but did not have a radio handy.
  3. Not as a suggestion but more to reminisce, Bonnie's Grill in Park Slope, Brooklyn is where I went when I lived in NYC. Good chicken wings and Genesee cream Ales for 2-3 bucks a can. It was a nice time cheering there. The NYC Bills Backers Org has a nice little list here: http://nycbbb.com/features/satellites/
  4. I would have chosen Genessee beer as I do on every game day
  5. Before any football is played they don't look good. I have a feeling they will be a top defense entering week 2.
  6. I've heard of him!
  7. I was hoping for pictures of puppies or something when I read the thread title.
  8. I'd high five you for that one if we were in the same room.
  9. A silly thing to say in a country built on democratic participation. Prohibition, social security, trail of tears, legalized human bondage, both anti and pro-abortion laws: all these things were considered ridiculously pointless or outright evil before the majority of people wanted them. Public opinion is absolutely a basis for legal argument as public opinion shapes the law. The same outcry that takes away the Redskins name will bring marijuana to your nearest store. Hooray, court of public opinion! Hooray, America!
  10. You can find it by googling but i thought i'd make it easier. http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=7Dco1vxBSxQ
  11. I was there and the defense easily outplayed the offense today. Kolb threw three picks, one was returned for a TD. Several sacks as Kolb and EJ faced pressure all day long. A few blitzes off the strong side of the line caught Pears unprepared and Jerry Hughes' speed rush helped make them happen.
  12. Wow. The guy liked the tweeted pictures and is excited to watch football in the fall. This has begun another thread debating the relative merits of optimism and pessimism for Bills fans. Offseason is best! I am pessimistic about next year! I hope EJ does well!
  13. I've been rocking Fletcher for about 5 years and will continue to do so. Unless the new Bills are good enough, that is. Manuel, Alonso, Woods, any of them woud be great.
  14. The Chiefs at 22 because they signed Alex Smith? Alex Reid is an amazing coach that can quadruple the wins of a terrible team? Seriously, I know Miami has "won" the offseason but has Tannehill done anything to prove himself a solid starter? The addition of one wide receiver, an overpaid linebacker and a 30 year old qb that was replaced midseason are not earth shattering moves. Who is Miami's second receiver? Is Brent Grimes healthy? Is Lamar Miller ready to take over as starting running back? Anyway, Bils fans know what it means to "win" an offseason and how much impact it can have on a season. This is a very young team that is short on experience that added two veterans and now has very high expectations associated with it. I will not be surprised if they struggle to start the season and don't get over .500 next year. Power rankings in May, what a joke.
  15. NIx said in the interview posted to Buffalobills.com that they had a chance to trade down from 16 but passed on it to be sure they got EJ. No specification as to who the trade was to be with or what the bills would have received in return for the 16th pick.
  16. Would like to point out the bell curve on this page (scroll down a bit) that shows that teams coming off a bye week have an increased chance of victory, 54.2% on a ten year sample size that ended in 2011. I am not sure I got your point as, while that is no guarantee, but a 5% added chance of losing per game with a team coming off a bye seems significant over the course of a season.
  17. Said something about rebates in the origina post. Probably Flying J giving a discount to certain trucking companies that use Flying J and leaving others out. That done do be illegal and un-american, just ask the Rockefellers and Vanderbilts.
  18. wow, started off pc and then some people got home from the A shift I guess? I register with the who the !@#$ cares crowd. Be gay, tell the world, tell everyone who wants to hear, be militant doesn't mean a thing to me. gay son, gay daughter: don't care. My dog is super gay: don't care. To some of the guys who wanted to protect gays from bodily harm by keeping this thing a mandated secret, I mean come on. Even if you really believe it is for their protection and they could be subject to bodily harm; gay dudes and ladies have to stand up for what they believe in and be allowed to say !@#$ the consequences of me being true to me.
  19. It is named after William of Orange. The first line gives it away, "Nicknamed Bill Orange" as in William Orange. Dutch and German settlers the first whitey's in the area and they loved them some William of Orange.
  20. Once again, the NFC representative in the Super Bowl is a team that beat the Buffalo Bills during the regular season. I don't know the odds of this happening, but seven years in a row seems kind of ridiculous. 2006: October 8, 2006 at Chicago Bears L 40–7 2007: December 23, 2007 New York Giants 1 PM EST Ralph Wilson Stadium Fox L 38–21 2008: Sunday October 5 4:15 PM CBS at Arizona Cardinals L 41–17 4–1 2009: September 27 4:05pm EDT Fox New Orleans Saints L 27–7 2010: September 19 1:00 p.m. at Green Bay Packers L 7–34 2011: October 16 1:00 p.m. at New York Giants L 24–27 2012: October 7 4:25 p.m. at San Francisco 49ers L 3–45
