  1. He's saving his best interviews for the regular season
  2. Or maybe the Giants D has something to do with it? This is a different d from TC D obviously. A couple series going up against different d backs, d line....it's not enough to guage much of anything. It's way early.
  3. Well at least someone is writing what we are all thinking. "So let's get this straight. Possessing a small amount of marijuana with charges dropped? Short suspension. Beating your wife or fiancee? Short suspension. If Bradham's marijuana charges weren't dropped, what does he get, four games? Way to be entirely tone deaf on not just one issue but two issues, NFL." http://sports.yahoo.com/blogs/nfl-shutdown-corner/nfl-apparently-thinks-marijuana-possession-roughly-same-as-domestic-violence-232314967.html?soc_src=mediacontentstory
  4. My buddy who is a lifelong Browns fan from Cleveland still names his Fantasy Football team The Dead Modells.........he came up with the name 11 years before Art died.
  5. I see where you are going with this, but I'll take boring Fred's TD's last year over Home Run Derby Spiller's
  6. My favorite Cowboy next to The Manster. #44 was an underrated member of their best teams. Enjoyed watching him when I was a kid.
  7. I liked Stevie's ability and it was nice when the ability resulted in a positive play or W. However, there was always something destructive about Stevie's game. I saw it numerous times in the past when he was flagged for taunting. I saw it when he dropped that TD against the steelers. And it showed up last year with that late fumble. This was a recurring football nightmare I would have: big first down vs Patriots taking us into red zone late in the game. Late flag....Stevie spiking the ball at a defender's feet. 15 yarder. Blown opportunity......resulting in another loss to NE. I would shudder with that thought. I don't feel that anymore with the receivers we have now.
  8. I think I like the news-less offseason better. Tough for Kiko. Really hope the kid is going to be ok
  9. The Ralph / Rich Stadium The Vet (philly) Cowboys Stadium in Irving Texas Lambeau Field (friggin Bledsoe!) Cardinals Stadium (Glendale AZ) ASU Sundevil Stadium (cardinals and sun devils, and that free game because of the twisters or earthquake or Katrina....can't remember exactly) Boise State (blue field) Autzen (Oregon Ducks, Kiko!!!)
  10. Yeah or maybe they are not good influences for one another. Maybe they partied before. Coke ain't no joke either
  11. He's about to become a millionaire. Shouldn't she be proposing to him?
  12. You guys are all falling for the trap he blatantly sets for you. He calls himself the Tuesday Morning Quarterback for a reason. Don't you get it?
  13. Woods can already do what Stevie does? That I do not agree with. Stevie is a veteran WR that is known around the league as one of the most creative route runners and very challenging to cover. Woods does not have all the experience going up against the defenders Stevie has. This kind of experience does not come to a rookie in half a season. Just because the QB isn't finding Stevie doesn't mean he's not open.
  14. I think this is a very intersting subject and one I would like to read a bit more on. It's about people. It's about redirection. It's about struggle. It's about toughness and tough luck. I enjoyed the interview and subject. There are a few minor areas where editing would make the story flow a little smoother, but all in all, a good read. I live in the Phoenix area, and have heard of Rajric before, which made the story more interesting for me. As for the first poster's reply about slicing it down to one page, I disagree. I want the story with some details. To summarize and shorten would take away from it being an informative interview piece. Too many mainstream pieces go that shortened route. And it didn't take all day to read; just a few minutes. Thanks for sharing this and I hope to read more if you ever want to share.
  15. KC is riding into an ambush. Bills at home, like a wounded animal, pissed and hyper sensitive to the "can't keep up with elite teams" labeling. KC has had fairly easy competition this year. They are much like the bills with some new coaching staff, new system. I see the Bills surprising them with healthy blitzes and better than expected coverage on receivers. I can see Freddy working like he has all year but I see Choice ripping off a couple large runs as a change up. Let's face it, he's got Wingo breathing down his neck (ha!!!). I see Thad running a bit more and making things happen on the fly. Home is comforting to these Bills. They are going to take advantage of it. Bills 30 KC 24 (after a chance to win it in final seconds)
  16. I fancy myself a pretty damn good carver, and that's a nice job! Are those toothpicks holding up the motion stripe in the middle?
  17. I have been to about 6 or 7 Bills home games (moved away from Rochester 30 years ago so the only times I could make it were on trips back to visit family). I have great memories as well. The tailgating before and after games are some of the greatest times I've had with all my brothers, other family, and friends. In 1990 or 91, we were playing football in one of the nearby fields after a game....letting traffic get out of the way. We got crazy and decided some tackle football in the snow was a good idea. My brother tackled me and ruptured my ACL. Sounds like a bad memory but in my sick Bills mind, it was worth it. Whenever the old knee acts up, I am comforted remembering the fun we all had that day after a Bills win. My brother felt so bad he scored me tix to the next game, which was on MNF against the Bengals. I drove from PA to Buffalo with my leg in a demobilizer. Nothing was going to keep me from that game. Talk about electricity, it was two-fold that for a Sunday game. I remember eating chili and ribs in one of the lots and looking up to see the MNF blimp. We blew out the Bengals that night. It was a packed house the entire time. The Ralph (or Rich at the time) was truly rocking. I also was fortunate enough to be in town for the Comeback and we bought tix at the stadium. Wow, what an investment of time that was!!! Conversely, I have been able to catch the Bills on the road here in AZ twice, one in Dallas, and was very lucky to have a pal get me into a game at Green Bay, which we lost with Bledsoe, I believe. But nothing beats a Bills home game for me Great post
  18. I like the nickname. But I don't think it will go over too well in the Bills locker room.......but it would be a hit in the Patriots* locker room
  19. Geno Smith played a very good game tonight. Hostile environment, national spotlight, and had to drive his team in the fourth quarter with little time on the clock. That's a big time performance for any rook. Falcons were a playoff team last year and didn't lose too many key players. Give the guy credit. He deserves it.
